Here's to you, bubba! You will be missed.
Bengals are a damn good football team..you will find that out. I admire what your team has done. Giants know RG3 is fantastic..Thats all they are saying. I agree with them. Not really sure about the rest of your team being the real deal. Are you?

I have been nothing but respectful this thread. Show me ONE disrespectful post. Remember I am a Giant fan.
Do you think any Giant fan give one **** about you guys sweeping us last year? Really?
If you don't like it have one of the mods ban me. I have enjoyed my time on here this week I will come here to congrat you guys if you win..trust me. As for my being here...its a good forum I enjoy posting in it. If you don't want rival fans on the forum..just ban me.

Man that other Giants forum is awful. Boards.Giants.com. My goodness, you are a pretty respectful fan, but pretty much everyone on there has NO IDEA how good RGIII is. This one moron keeps saying that RGIII is a run first QB and he doesn't go through his progressions, blah, blah, etc. And like RGIII lost the game for us last time and not our D. lol every single one is saying "We beat the great RGIII last time so we'll win again, he clearly wasn't good enough to win." They're so ignorant.
Yeah this giants fan is fine, I don't see why people are saying he's disrespectful.
I've noticed that other teams boards really suck. Every week I usually look at other teams boards to see what they're saying.
Is this the best message board in the Nfl?
My only issue is that I've been NNT since 2007 for something that was interpreted as spam. I politely asked One of the mods to remove the NNT, but he never responded. Wonder why?
Well they are foolish. Its one thing watching your fan base say stupid things but when my fan base does it, it is actually quite annoying. Why I dont read the Giant forums..Mostly every Giant fan I know is scared of RG3. I know you cant see it on the forums but trust me, the respect is there already.

Thanks... This definitely a better board than most. Actually Dallas Zone is a good board too. Man they are hard on their team right now. Its almost no fun to read even ...you'd never know you guys and them were both 5-6.
I think the problem for some fans here is they forget I'm a Giant fan. I am not saying I should not be respectful but you can't expect me to drink the kool-aid.

Well, I wasn't the mod involved but whenever I read comments like yours here, I know how it turns out 99 times out of 100.
So let me help you.
1. It was 2008, not '07 and It was spam by rule, as a number of members who posted in it right after you stated it stated--some even did it rather rudely.
2. That thread came fairly soon after you were already given a break on an NNT for starting another thread that could have netted one here (it was simply closed):
http://www.extremeskins.com/showthre...e-Zorn-Suit-Up
Now you might not agree with either call, but that's totally immaterial.
As to the "ignored" deal, one thing we've mentioned in posts and sticky threads hundreds of times (literally) over the years is that if a member simply reads the rules (like they all agree to do when they register their account) they would see what to do to get out of an NNT setting. It even mentions the whole "ignore" thingy.
Now oddly enough, though the way you write it here it sound like you were still on NNT, you are not--- though you are restricted in having a sig, again due to a violation of that rule. For now, I can't tell if you were ever on NNT, or when you were let off if you were, but you're not on it now.
So whatever your issues have been, they're not on us and all on you (shocker). Now, as another favor to you, I advise you to carefully read the last couple paragraphs of rule 18 before you make a response to any of this, and then proceed as you wish.
Per the Giants fan, while he's stuck it out there a bit, he hasn't crossed the line as far as I'm concerned. If he merits boot, he;'ll get one. Reading the link the other member provided about how things can be hard here for a rival fan (depending) at times is a good idea. Hell, we're damn hard on each other.
Also, Giant fans should know we're in a state of "extra" hate for "all things Giant." And even just being here persistently in the face of that anger is sort of leaving yourself open for "whatever" (though our members are still expected to follow our rules too).
While it's not typical, you can be removed at some point if just your very presence is determined to be trolling even if you're being careful with your words (being a subtle deliberate irritant is not a new tactic on sports message boards).
Were they in our situation re: "capgate", I'm sure most rival fans would feel the same. Fans are basically fans everywhere.
Now....I suggest people talk football.

"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"
"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!
Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
Now!'Enter' at will!"
"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."
haha yuppoh god there are 3 people at my college that are hugeeee giants fans (im at a college in new york). they have been getting annoying as EVER lately. one dude in my grade is like "dude, u know ur skins aren't making it to the playoffs, its impossible". like....seriously? does he even believe that? does he not know that the redskins can get a wildcard spot with a win and a few other teams losing on sunday? jesus, he is the stupidest giants fan EVER. i hate every giants, cowboys, and eagles fan in the world. they're called rivals for a reason, and plus its actually kinda fun to have arguments with them

As a Giants fan, I don't think the Redskins have anything to prove on Monday night. The Redskins and the Giants are clearly the best teams in the division. Monday night is about the playoffs. If you win, you're still in it. If we win, we have a very comfortable lead.

Once we drafted RGIII, it was only a matter of time until the Redskins became the main competition of the Giants for the division. Teams live and die by their QB, and Philly lost theirs (in an ill-advised-from-our-perspective trade, but still). Vick gave them one good year, one ok year, and now seems done. Foles might be decent in time, but odds are against him, and until they find another McNabb, they'll probably struggle.
The only way I *wouldn't* see that happening is if Andy Reid stayed, that guy has a tendency to magically make meh QBs look good (Kolb, Vick), but he's toast.
Tony Romo, for all the times I made fun of him, is actually a good QB. He chokes, but their losses are rarely purely on him. The Cowboys have been a bit of a mess lately. They might contend for a year or two if they can get all their pieces to gel right, but by then Romo will be retiring most likely, and they'll have to start the QB search all over again.
The Giants will have Eli for several more years, and their team is good enough that they can keep contending. Whether the Eagles rise to contend for the East anytime soon will be largely dependent on how quickly they replace what they once had in McNabb, and for the Boys it'll depend first on if they can right the ship and then how quickly they can replace Romo when he retires.

That's one summary.
And yes, I know *MANY* Giants fans who give four asterisks about us sweeping you last year. Many. Haven't been down in real Giants country in Charlotte, North Carolina, but those who I know in the five boroughs, Long Island, and New Jersey, they're still mad. They're still scared because of what happened the first time that we played this year.
You trying to minimize it makes you look like a punk. I don't give a damn if you'll come back and congratulate us; you know that your body of work in this thread alone has been to antagonize. There are quite a few of misguided souls who are fans of other teams on this board who are very well respected. You're not headed down that path.
Sorry buddy, you've got some manners to learn if you think that you can come into our house and be anything but ultra-respectful, especially when you haven't proven **** about being a worthy poster. To say that we haven't proven anything doesn't help your cause, and you know that. You know what you're doing, and you should give a few minutes thought to how you're going about things. I'd love for you to stay on the board as an outside perspective is always nice, but I tolerate ******* Giants fans much less than ******* Redskins fans. Don't join that group.

Here's to you, bubba! You will be missed.
Seems like a nice place to post this. Didn't want to start another thread about it.
NFL.com: Robert Griffin III has 'an upper hand' on New York Giants defense
More at link.EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Six weeks ago, in the immediate aftermath of their 27-23 win over the Washington Redskins, the New York Giants defenders knew they'd gotten lucky.
With 73 seconds to play, the 77-yard hookup between Eli Manning and Victor Cruz proved the difference. The Giants' defense, which had spent much of the afternoon playing Wile E. Coyote to Robert Griffin III's Road Runner, finally exhaled.
The elusive RG3 had confounded, but it was the Giants who'd escaped.
"That guy," Osi Umenyiora said at the time, "is flat-out unbelievable."
Said Justin Tuck: "I am pretty mad at the football gods for putting him in the NFC East. To face that guy twice a year is going to be a headache."
Pretty much the whole thing is nothing but NYG defensive players saying polite, respectful things about RG3 and our offense.
was that the whole CapGate thing totally orchestrated by Goddell & Mara was for their (Redskin) benefit. Not only did it involve a small fine to the Skins, but Mara had to agree to allow his team (Giants) lose three specific games last year. One was to Green Bay and the other 2 to the Skins.
The 2 game wins the Redskins had over the Giants increased Redskin merchandise sales 14.6%. Ticket sales for the final games last year went up also. It leveraged the Redskins draft position exactly right so they could complete the trade-up for Bob3. They actually owe Mr. Mara big time.
