Are the Parking lots opening early on Monday?

In the past the lots have opened early on Monday night games. Has anyone heard any info on this for this Monday?

As far as I know ... they will officially open four hours before kickoff, at 1630 EST. Past history would indicated that they might open early, depending on how things shape up during the afternoon.

Take a look at the game ... Redskins have two division wins, nine touchdowns in those games, and two games behind New York. A win puts us one game behind and a better division record. It tells me there is renewed optimism amongst the fans who will be fired up for this one. I would anticipate an early opening (but do not translate that to mean **EXPECT** an early opening).

The barometer for the early opening will be the line of traffic on the approach roads (Arena Drive, Redskins Road); once they start spilling on to the main thoroughfares (95 and 202), they must release us to the lots.

I do remember one year, maybe 3 years ago, the skins did announce it late. 1 or 2 games after that including a Sun. Night game they opened early without them announcing it.

Officially 4:30 pm, realistically the traffic situation created by hosting a weekday football game during rush hour usually forces them to let people in earlier.

You're nuts.

You'll be mixing it up with rush hour traffic so there's no telling what you'll have. If nothing else, the construction at the Wilson Bridge has pretty much wound down and the traffic patterns defined.

Yes he is nutz LOL But Bob, even with the new bridge, I've seen traffic get pretty bad on tuesday and wednesday nights there at the WW Bridge heading INTO MD on my way to bowling to dranseville and edsall

You're nuts...I remember a Thursday night Chicago game I left Reston at 3:30 and I did not make it to the stadium until 8:30...that may be a rare situation. However, with traffic you will not make it in an hour and half.
