Michael Vick won't start another game for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. There's a good chance he won't play for the team again.

Eagles coach Andy Reid announced at his press conference Monday that rookie Nick Foles will be the team's starting quarterback the rest of the season. Vick remains at Phase 4 of his post-concussion testing as of Monday morning, Reid said.

It's still very interesting Reid isn't allowing for the possibility that Vick could play again, especially after Foles' best game of the season. The Eagles organization wants to see what it has in Foles. He showed serious progress on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, even in a loss. Evaluating Foles for the future is now more important than worrying about Vick's feelings. Reid spoke with Vick, who he said was "on board" with the decision.click link for remainder of article

At this point I have to believe people close to Vick when they said that Philly's keeping Vick out so Foles can play. I believe 2 other QB's had concussions the same week Vick had his and both have come back.

Yeah Schwartz is another coach who should be on the hot seat. Last year the excuse for Detriot not advancing in the playoffs was "no running game". This year they have no excuse. A lot of coaches would love to have that roster.

I wouldn't be shocked, but I don't think they're gonna fire him just yet. He will get at least one more year, I'm sure.

Did you watch last night? Because the kid played pretty well. Had some nice touch on a lot of balls and was going through his reads nicely. I think he opened a few eyes last night, actually. And he put up 33 pts on a decent defense without his top WR or RB.

Put it this way. As a Redskins fan, I would be quite satisfied if the Eagles decide that Nick Folk is their quarterback of the future.

That's fair. I'm not about to say I've seen enough to think he's gonna be a quality starter either. Just pointing out that he played well last night.
