Default This game belongs to Alfred Morris

After his fumble, it seemed like he was really upset with himself. And then he proceeded to run harder than any Redskins RB I've ever seen in an effort to redeem himself.

I feel bad that he has to live in RG3's shadow. He closed out the game with three hard runs, yet the crowd erupted with chants of RG3 instead of applauding Almo. C'mon man. He puts the team on his back just as much as RG3 does, and the fans need to show him love.

Also, London Fletcher was amazing today.

Agreed - Morris was a man possessed after that fumble. I split the game ball between him and the defense for their 2nd half play.

I was in chat, and we all agreed that Morris was MVP.

I'd like to see him get some more TDs.

Loved the announcer comparing him to Steven Davis, too.

The running game was what made that second half.

And I love that Shanny let him do so. That could have been a huge fumble, but they put the ball back in his hands immediately afterward. And he rewarded them.

Notice how much better our D looks, when we're running the ball well?

Morris was a man out there today. The way he helped us to finish off that drive was huge. Fletcher played his ass off too. 12 tackles on a bad ankle!

I was livid about the fumble. But what separates true champions from others is what Morris did after he had that crucial fumble. Both RG3 and Morris have this quality in them that is so invaluable in players, we are set for a while at RB and QB.

Morris was doing the thang !! Fumble or not, he came to play today and set the tone for the team. Now if only we can give him the ball on the first drive, we would be ok...

Has the Riggo Drill become the Almo Drill?
