Morris absolutely beasted out there. The fumble was unfortunate, but the way he atoned for it shows a lot about his mental toughness. I don't know if he's naturally that austere a kid or if the RG III effect is trickling down to the rest of the players but its nice to see players making gutty plays. The best part of this game is that we won ugly. Not everyone was making plays, but the team bailed itself out. Oh and Young is looking more and more like a pro-bowl caliber FB.

Not to mention, 2 key 1st down runs. 2 runs for 8 yards, nothing special to look at, except both were 3rd downs for 1st downs keeping drives alive, and you can't put a price on that.

I trace this DIRECTLY to the bye when Griff became team captain. Some serious motivation going on.

I loved how Morris got the ball right after he fumbled it in the previous possession. What I loved about it was that he ran for the hardest 10 yards I have ever seen. I just thought to myself how great it is to have guys really care about the team and game.

Tonight was Alfred's night to shine. What a great kid, what a great running back. That last drive to end the game, that last run for the 1st down.

    EPIC

I think RG3 has REALLY gotten into the Giant's heads, they're so afraid of him that Morris ranks a distant 2nd and he makes them pay for it.

This is what happens when you are patient in the rebuild.

That team played with a lot of heart, and they are really gelling right now. But playoffs or not, we know we are still missing some pieces. Think about that. What happens when we add some legit safeties and improve the OL/DL depth just a bit?

As fir this year, these guys are confident, and rightfully so. Bring on Baltimore!
Eli Manning will be 31 years old when the 2012 season starts.
Michael Vick will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.
Tony Romo will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.
ROBERT GRIFFIN III will be 22 years old when the 2012 season starts.

We sustained drives. I've made this point before after games. Our D doesn't look too bad when we actually sustain drives, and we've been so poor at 3rd down conversions in some cases we haven't really sustained drives.

It was nice to see some longish sustained drives and picking up some BIG 3rd downs in the 2nd half of this game.

Clearly, RGIII is important to everything we do w/ all of the fakes, but he played poorly tonight.

The combination of Morris, the OL run blocking, and the D won this game.

I don't think Morris is living in RG3s shadow. Them two are going to carry this offense together for a while.

And i'm glad they kept giving him the rock after the fumble. It kind of took the giants by surprise as well.

So, so happy for him after that fumble. It was great to see Shanny walking arm and arm with him in the tunnel after the game. Shanny had a huge smile and Morris had a "Thank God, coach" look.

That fumble was huge but the man made up for it...the last drive where he was pushing the pile to get the 1st was huge....when the last time we were able to run a 4 min O and not give the ball back to the other team...AWESOME
