Yes, of course I have.
No, but I am certainly going to.
No, but I might if he keeps it up.
No, I hate jerseys.
My only problem with buying jersey's s that players seem to always have something happen shortly after getting the jersey (In our family we have jersey's for Champ Bailey, Lavar, and Portis) It was so bad that last season, I was considering getting a Rex Jersey just so he would get traded or cut.
I would but Shanny will probably run him into the ground and he'll be done in 3 years. Then, he'll easily find another great RB in the 5th.
How do you guys like my new sig?
I understand Shanny's history, but I think Al Mo is different. It's really hard to find a guy who can get the tough yards but is also fast enough to get yards in big chunks. I also think that the value of a RB has changed over the years, and they are not valued as highly as they once were...except for the elite backs. In short, I don't think Al Mo would get us enough on the market to warrant trying to move him. He's my favorite player...so I'd love for him to stick around.
Quick question, why are people so enamored with buying jerseys? Just curious...

Even the elite backs are not valued as high, IMO, because there is far more to a running game than just the back. There's the matter of the big uglies up front.
For example, I think Tennessee immediately regretted the CJ2K contract and they would trade him in a second if they could. We remember the names of Corey Dillion and Marshawn Lynch (finding success with a new team in his late 20's/early 30's), because they are so few and far between. THere are far more Shone Greenes and LaRod Stevens-Howlings than not.
FYI, no more jerseys for me unless the number is "unofficially retired." Call it the The Stephen Davis Rule.
Ill be honest ive wanted a morris jersey since i saw him in preseason. My original plan was to buy throwbacks for both him and RG3 because i liked the idea of getting the pair of our two best playmakers in their rookie year (kinda like getting a baseball players rookie card i guess), especially since they compliment easch other so well and give us the number one rushing offense in the league
But they dont have morris throwbacks unfortunatley. Im kinda pissed. Still would like to get a jersey of his but wanted one that showed it came from this year and have it match the RG3....
To answer Alvin, i look at them as kind of collector pieces rather than actual clothing.
I have a really random collection of jerseys, and i try to get one a year based on whichever player i remember most from that year. For instance, in 2007 i got a custom 75th anniversary jersey for sean taylor, but got it in black with red and yellow numbers since he died midseason, in 2009 i got a nice but completely scrub, practice style non official Armstrong jersey cuz i loved how he worked his way up from the practice squad to our best reciever that year.... Also got a nice art monk jersey with the 50th anniversary patch on it (and no nfl logo on the collar, cuz he always ripped them off before every game, saying he played for the redskins, not the nfl lol)

Without getting into a dispute on whether he's going to remain here or not; to answer your question, yes I did. Bought a home and away the week before the Pittsburgh game.

I am going to get his jersey for sure probably this weekend. He has been a solid performer for us. Hope he continues to enjoy success because he really helps our quarterback be successful as well.
I have a McNabb jersey I am going to give away to Goodwill this week. Of all the Skins jerseys I have bought, his jersey is the most disappointing. Of course my Skins sports bar buddy bought number 92 so
I don't feel too bad compared to his mistake.

Agreed.
First, Morris is more talented than overachieving Denver RBs like Gary, Anderson, and Droughns that usually tend to characterize the supposedly typical "Shanny RB."
Secondly, Morris will make rookie wage scale money for the next four years (counting this season). What's the point of trading him when you're getting such great value? Shanny also traded Portis at a time when RBs had more value. And as you suggest, as great as Morris is, I doubt he's actually worth trading--he's worth more to us than his trade value in today's downgraded RB market. He'll be our starting RB for the next four years.

Oh man I am so tempted to get a Morris jersey, but Ive never bought a QB jersey for obvious reasons. Now that we have such a phenom I gotta shy away from Morris' jersey even though he has been terrific for us this season.
I don't doubt Morris or that he will be around for at least a few years. But Shanahan WILL look for another running back. And most likely, he will find another good one. At which point this becomes a timeshare. I've been saying all season that Darren Sproles would be terrifyingly good in this offense. If we can get a guy like that with great ball catching skills and speed, he is bound to get a good number of snaps. Imagine the brandon banks triple option but with somebody with a skill other than "fast" (and he's not really even that)
