Pot is a performance-enhancing drug? Trent smoked that **** because it was fun stuff, not because it would make him better at football. If anything, it would be somewhere on the contiuum between between harmful and effectless when it comes to helping him play football well.
Yeah, there is life after football, but wanting to play the game at an acceptable level out to win a roster spotand and get a nice paycheck is a large incentive to take performance-enhancing drugs. IF people want football players to lay off roids and stuff, perhaps relieving the pressure of expecting teams the outside to win would help. But I see fans laying it into players like Pierre Garcon for not showing up just like a stereotypical corporate suits treating their workers like crap.
Well ... Richard Crawford, come on down! You're the next contestant on "Who wants to be in the Redskins secondary??"
Excited for Crawford
"This is the business we've chosen"
Dam, What a joke. I wish we could get better info. I think the league holds on to these things and drops them whenever.
The Seahawks CB is suspended too for the same drug.
Only dead fishes follow the stream. "Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught, we will realize that we can't eat money."
If players did not cheat then Mara would not matter, stupid headcases.
We lost Jackson first.
Jim Haslett has done a great job with what he was given after cap penalty and has lost Robinson,Meriweather,Neild,Carriker,Bernstine,Orak po and Minnifield.
Should be in demand for jobs next year!

Go with the Seahawks mentatlity, use him while you can to get to the playoffs...If he gets suspended for these last four games and we don't make the playoffs and the Seahawks do we would all be playing the "what if" game. "Would you rather have the money now or later?"
Understanding that a lot has changed since I originally posted when this news first came out.

Anyone read the tweet from grant paulson saying he asked players why guys are using adderall? Guy said its like the "Limitless" pill increases concentration an focus. Really? Anyone know if this could be true?
I take adderall for symptoms of my MS. It does give an energy boost and helps concentration. Without it, I have a hard time at work and a hard time tracking other medications for me or my kids.
I can see why athletes would take it and why it would be seen as an unfair advantage gained by chemical means. Absolutely this drug should be banned barring outside football medical condition. One problem I can could is players getting doctors to write scripts for them saying head shots had caused a brain condition where a player needs it to function...challenging that would be a mess.
On patients like me, there is a summary of results of people taking adderall (amphetamine-dextoamphetamine): http://www.patientslikeme.com/treatm...icacy#overview

I believe my job as a parent is to give my kids all the blocks they need to build a life in which they can attempt to reach everything they strive for and see anything they can imagine. In a world where everybody finds it easier to destroy than build, I wish for my kids to experience the joy of seeing something for the first time and the love of creating something new.

This might have been a blessing in disguise
Good to get him back this week especially with injuries but who goes down. Not Crawford.
Could be good that he is rested?
