Many games we could point out. Bengals end of the game. We get a false start and are backed up.....the Bengals run out onto to the field....that should have given us 15 and moved us into better field to win that game

Rams game the FG when there was a holding penalty during a play should have been a 10 second run off therefore they are not able to kick that FG before halftime

Whatever happened, happened. All of these things impacted the Skins, but also impacted the teams themselves. The stupid replacement refs screwed the Packers, the Packers screwed themselves by not beating the Giants, and the Bears screwed themselves by not beating the Seahawks. Take care of your own business and everything else will take care of itself. There's no point in crying over spilled milk anymore.

Breaking News:The NFL has just instituted a rule during the season that has now affected the playoff picture. Spearheaded by the Giants John Mara, the previous Super Bowl winner is awarded any tiebreaker based on being the defending Super Bowl champ. John Mara felt that a team should have a chance to defend their title. He was last seeing Roger Goodell's hotel room at 3:00 AM. Hours later Roger Goodell held a news conference announcing the change.

The usual disclaimer - I searched electronically and also scanned the thread titles and didn't see see this posted.

But here's the deal - if the playoffs started today, the Redskins should be in the 6th wildcard position. But they aren't. By virtue of the "Fail Mary" play where the Seahawks were erroneously given a TD against the Packers on the game's final play in week 3, they now hove the 6th position and the Redskins are in 7th.

Something to watch as the season progresses.
That sucks but forget the wildcard we got bigger fish to fry...LETS WIN THE NFC EAST.....HTTR

This is true. Right now all we can do is win out and pray the Giants lose 1 or 2 more so we end up #1 in the division or tied w/ NY.

This. The Giants have a brutal schedule from here on out (NO, @ATL, @BAL, PHI), and they already have 3 division losses. Realistically we should aim to go 3-1, and get the tiebreaker by virtue of a 4-2 or 5-1 NFC East record.

    I go one step further...

Nicknamed the Karate Kid rule, due to its similarities to the Defending Champion not being required to go through the brackets of the All-Valley Under 17 Karate Tournement, The Defending Super Bowl Champion is automatically inserted as its conference's representative in the Next years game.

They always play well at home and they will have 3 home games. Not sure if we will be able to catch them for the wildcard.
Perhaps they always play well at home. But still, they are 0-3 within their division.
Honestl,y I don't care much about the fail mary. We should have taken care of our business against the bengals, rams, giants, and panthers more than anything else. And if our receivers had come to Pittsburgh with their hands it would have been even better, rather than leaving them at homes.
RG3 does not stand for Rex Grossman 3rd year as a Redskins starting QB.

    That is delusional.

It would be Roger inside John Mara's hotel room.

We will probably need to win the division anyway. Seattle has three home games and one auto win vs. Arizona. Doubt they lose even one more game this year. NYG has New Orleans and a pissed off Drew Brees, at ATL, at BAL where they have lost once in the last three seasons.

Good teams win the games they are supposed to win.. IMO we should have killed the Rams and Carolina, not to mention we should of won the first Giants game. We handle the teams we're supposed too beat and not give up huge plays at the end of games, were the ones sitting at 9 - 3 not looking over our shoulders.
