Nothing less than a first rounder. He is a valuable back-up for us. But if someone wants to give us a very high pick you have to listen. Hail.

4 teams this year (Skins, Colts, Niners,Seattle) have shown teams around the league that a good QB can immediately change your teams fortunes. Andy Dalton did it for the Bengals last year too. If the Cardinals offer their 2nd round pick, or first, we'd have to consider it. They are desperate and Cousins looks like a great prospect. I wouldn't be surprised if more than one team called about KC's availability. I think we can get a first for him but we may want to make it a first in 2014 rather than 13. Take a shot that we might be able to get Clowney or hold the draft rights to Johnny Heisman and really cash in on a trade.
I don't think Kirk will be going anywhere in a hurry.
However good / bad RG3's injury ends up being, seems to me like Kirk's real worth to us is staying right where he is in the short/medium term.
We knew when we drafted RG3 that he'd probably get hurt (at least I did). Makes drafting Cousins look very wise. Clutch on to him for dear life. Put him in there and let him shine while Robert is on the mend. It would take an incredible offer for us to even consider listening. A first rounder and two seconds- something like that.

Im probably going to be attacked for saying this but since we never got to see Griffin in the traditional offense, I have high hopes for Cousins, I want the slow drop back passer in the pocket. Im sick of this running QB crap, everytime Griffin takes off or scrambles or anything I hold my breath.
Honestly, why didnt we run a traditional offense in the first place? Id love to see what Griffin would have been able to do in the Shanny roll out offense. Oh well, Kirk is priceless now.
Let me edit
I do understand that we ran that offense because of our weak oline and to help Griffin get in the pro game, but honestly, theres always been doubts in my mind on if he can really run a good traditional offense. But im a huge pessimist.

Can't give him up. After this season, it's clear RG3 will have an injury-prone career. Not a knock, just goes with the way he plays. Kirk is our Matt Schaub and we need to keep him.
At this point, the only thing I'd give Kirk up for would be a 1st round pick.
If this season is any indication of the future, as great as RG3 is, we NEED a solid backup for him. I'd be a nervous wreck if we had to go back to Sexy Rexy for any given length of time.
Kirk Cousins will be starting the first 4-6 games in 2013 and that would be a blessing in disguise....since it will makemhismtrade value go up.
In answer to the OP - right now, his weight in gold. Cousins is going nowhere and if all the smoke signals are close to right around RGIIIs knee he may well be our opening day starter in 2013.
I have no problem with Kirk starting the '13 season... as much as I want to see RG3 play inside of an invisible cocoon... he won't be turning into a new butterfly anytime soon.
Cousins will be the starter soon enough. RG3 is a great runner and I can't see him refraining from something he is great at. RG3 will continue to run and continue to get injured.
Cousins will likely be our starting QB next year given the speculation around RG's injury. So what is he worth? He is worth starting and leading our Washington Redskins next year. Why would you consider trading someone that performed in the clutch when called upon, and he knows our system. He doesn't have the legs like RG, but no one in the league really does. Cousins was quite mobile and effective on play action scramble bootlegs. No QB will likely be effective as solely a pocket passer in our system. Cousins showed great potential, and the team responded to him. I hope the team grows stronger from this experience. Sorry but I would not give him up for a 1st rounder.
I have to say I am pulling a 180 now. The trade ideas should only apply while RG3 is healthy. Now that he's injured (possibly significantly), we HAVE to keep Cousins.
