    3. Luck
    4. Cousins
I don't know, I think it might look a little bit more like this, considering who picked where and scheme fit and such:

    1. Colts - Andrew Luck
    2. Redskins - Robert Griffin III
    3. Dolphins - Russell Wilson
    4. Browns - Ryan Tannehill
    5. Broncos - Kirk Cousins

I'm not sure where Weeden would have went. I wouldn't take a flyer on a soon to be (he is now, but at the time of the draft soon to be) 29 year old.

I think this is seriously wishful thinking, BUT, I'd jump at it in a heartbeat. Fitzgerald with an accurate QB is unstoppable, and one of the few WRs in the league who you feel comfortable just throwing the ball up and letting him go get it....

That sounds about right. Cleveland really messed up burning a 1st rounder on Weeden, who will be 30 next year. Even if he turns it on, which is a big if, the Browns will only get 4-5 good years out of him.

Isn't next years QB draft class regarded as being weak? If so that could/should boost Cousins trade value.

At first, right after the game, I said to my nephew; "We could get a first rounder for him! How nice would it be if we traded him to a Kansas City or Jacksonville and get a top 5 pick?!" And I was excited, I mean who wouldnt want a Manti Teo on their team or "insert elite safety/DB/CB here"?
But, then I thought about it. Honestly, we all saw Cousins run a more pro offense yesterday, even though he was weak in the pocket, we havent seen Griffin run a traditional offense that much, even though I think Griffin will be great in a traditional offense because of his outstanding pocket presence. My point is, I think now we should keep Cousins. If Griffin does start getting hurt, we have a great backup.
But there is no QB controversy, Griffin is still hands down by far best QB in my opinion.
Though, if someone offered us a top 5 pick, I mean, come on, its hard to say no to that....

It is VERY unrealistic to think we could get a first round pick, let alone a top 5 pick for Cousins based off of one game.

Arizona got burned once with the klob trade.. I don't see them making that mistake again.
They'll draft a qb, and will continue to suck
Barry Cofield is LEGIT... no more nonsense about we need a "real" NT... HE IS THE REAL DEAL!!!! He goes to the Pro Bowl this year, book it!!!

It's funny that Kolb, in his limited time with the Eagles...well, I don't believe he ever had a game as good as Cousins just did. And yet he was worth a 2nd rounder and a starting CB. Desperate teams will pay handsomely for the position, though Larry Fitzgerald is shooting high, I'll admit

IMHO the answer to the question is...

Way too much to consider trading him any time soon! RGIII will always be one hit away from missing significant time with the way he plays. If we do not have a QB that can come in and win our season will be always be in jeopardy.

Matt Flynn and Kevin Kolb have lowered the backup QB worth on the market.....

Fitzgerald is making QB money, he is a financial liability.

    I wasn't sure, that's why I said "I don't believe" but I went and looked.

2007 - Got into one game, kneeled three times to run out the clock

2008 - Saw action in six games, significant action in one. Season numbers: 17-34, 144 yards, 0 TD's, 4 INTs.

    2009 - Saw action in five games, significant action in two. Season numbers: 62-96 (64.6%), 741 yards, 4 TD's, 3 INTs. Two significant games were 31-51, 391 yards, 2 TD's, 3 INT's and 24-34, 327 yards, 2 TD's, 0 INT's, 1 rushing TD. 1-1 Record in the two games.

2010 - Saw action in seven games, significant action in five. Season numbers 115-189, 1,197 yards, 7 TD's, 7 INT's. Best game was 23-29, 326 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT. 2-3 record in the five games.

So basically, in what amounted to a season's worth of starts, Kolb had two better games than the one Cousins just put up. In those two specific games, his QBR and Rating were 86.1 / 120.6, and 96.9 / 133.6. Cousins just put up a 76.3 / 104.4, again better than all but two of Kolb's starts over the equivalent of a season's worth of work with the Eagles.

So Kolb's two worth performances were "worth" a 2nd rounder and a CB. My point is, we should expect a decent return for Kirk based on his limited work if we're using Kolb as a measuring stick.

Well, there's also this, but I'm ignoring it for now.

Disagree. Guys like Rob Johnson and AJ Feeley have been lowering the 'backup QB market' for years. If a team is getting over a 1st round bust at QB and they want a veteran guy who may be ready to plug in and play, they'll be interested in a guy like Kirk. There have been too many success stories like Mark Brunell, Matt Schaub and Matt Hasselbeck for teams to not go after back ups.

Teams like Minnesota and Jacksonville immediately come to mind.
