Nor was there anything dirty about the hit on the sidelines, where Bob was wanting the flag. And the hit which knocked off his helmet looked pretty clean to me, too. I thought the game was just good hard football..Even the play where Hall got flagged, they could have let that one go, too.

I agree that if he can play he needs to play. Dallas just won and the Giants are winning right now. Looking at what Seattle just did, we are more likely to win our division then get a wild card. But we have to keep winning.
We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...

I agree about the hits against us...all three (even the one that was flagged seemed clean). I think the DLo one was correctly flagged and think he could have gotten another penalty on a kick return.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

    agree 100%.

I agree with you that it was an unnecessary tackle and the defender was just trying to get a shot in before RG3 hit the ground. He hit RG3 just before he hit the ground, so it was legal, but it wasn't a clean play. RG3 needs to help himself by sliding more often. He is doing better with avoiding hits when scrambling though.

For anybody who doubts the Ravens intended to hurt RG3, I would like to remind you of this tidbit: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/r...ge=2&track=rss

Although Griffin obviously has the capability to confound defenses, defensive end Pernell McPhee has a rather simplistic plan for what to do about the electrifying rookie.

"We got to hit him," McPhee said. "Hit him, hit him, hit him, and make him break.'
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "

Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.

Honestly this game may be a W for the record, but if Griffin is seriously hurt this game is a loss in my book.

My best guess is a sprain from all of the hearsay from RG3 and twitter...(actually at worst that's what I hope)... I won't sleep easy until the MRI comes back... even then, I hope and pray for good results

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

I don't know if this holds true for all injuries like this, but when I tore my meniscus they wanted to wait greater than 24 hours to let the swelling go down a little bit before they did the MRI so that it didn't interfere with the results. So we may not hear anything out until Tue-Wed if that's the same type of deal.

If the media somehow gets their hands on it, probably later tonight. ACl would be devastating though. Dude has already had one on the right knee. No bueno

Which one you talking about on the sidelines? ONe where he was hit on the head and the guy was launching towards his helmet (and did make some contact?) That's a dirty play it looked like Pollard was imitating Rodgers-Cromartie on that one. There was another one where Griffin was already out of bounds and the Ravens player hit him to the ground while everyone's feet were in the chalk. It was an illegal hit.

The Ravens, like many of the teams we played, went out to play dirty against RG3 specifically. The Rams, Bengals, Cowboys and today stand out but I might have missed someone. Oh, the Eagles but more because of two instances that I recall.

You will give the Redskins an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time you will help them accomplish wonders.

Sorry, but there's nothing there to indicate that they intended to injure him. It's sound defense to hit QBs who are a threat outside the pocket, esp. ones who run the read option. The hit on this particular scramble also wasn't dirty.
