Brandon stated after the game that he was fine, and the reason he didn't return was for precautionary purposes...we later found out after he recieved an MRI, that he was done. flash forward to today and we have a very similar situation where a player(rg3) states he's fine before he's had an MRI. I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out like it did for Merriweather..

I saw that. He put it up there then deletes it and says that he meant to text it. Someone asked if it was still right and he responded that it was a mistweet. Never really denied it but I don't know how much you can read into it.

How close is he to the team? He's been wrong before. This is like life and death to me right now. I can't focus on anything else. It's like one of my family members is deathly ill

I'm pretty sure he's been more right than wrong.

I think he was the one that said Banks had like 2 weeks to prove himself before getting benched and he was right

if MRI is negative is it possible for him to play next week depending on swelling/bruising?

Albert Breer tweeted this: "Was told best case, RG3 misses some practice time this week, plays Sunday. Worst case? Not sure."

It looked hyperextended, so ligaments can get stretched, which may result in a sprain. ice it and ice it some more.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

I strained my acl, pcl, and mcl, no tears, and I heard a pop still. Of course even a strain is a huge setback, I couldn't imagine trying to run on it in just a week.

Then again, Rivers played with a torn ACL I believe, and Merriman had one for years. ACL strongly affects joint stability but it's possible to play without one, of course it's dumb and further injury could be the result, but it's possible.
