    Love his confidence and demeanor. The guy definitely wants to be out there no matter what. Hopefully, the news is good with the MRI tomorrow.

    I felt that in his interview it seemed like he was on some heavy painkillers.

I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out like it did for Merriweather..

    He said that he "screamed.... ..like a man!!" lol. Not gonna speculate, but it looked horrible.

    Too bad there isn't a penalty for excessive underachievement. The Cowboys would be flagged. (Clayton)

We might not even make the playoffs if Giants win out and Seattle wins out, right?
    I agree, IF he is okay, start Cousins, see what happens, and use RG3 if Cousins goes south in the first quarter/half. If we don't make the playoffs winning out I'd be shocked. Chicago may be Cutlerless and could easily lose out if that is the case. Their record without him is really really bad.

    I just wish they'd roll RG III out more often. I know it takes away from the ground game but when they do pass, ROLL OUT. Prayers for RG III, the man is a true warrior and he SO reminded me of the heart that use to live at RFK

    Cunningham had a long career. Not every mobile QB has their career shortened because of hits they take on the run. Vick is the infamous one for it.

    Shanahan and all of us knew with mobility there would be some risk involved. RG3 is being developed in the pocket though, I don;t know why you're posting like he isn't and is only being used as a runner. That's just not true. The play he got hurt on wasn't a designed run, it was a broken down play and he scrambled. If you said RG3 needs to learn to slide quicker when he runs in the middle of the field then I would agree. But your argument only works if you say RG3 shouldn't scramble, because those are the plays he got hurt on, not on designed run plays.

    There is risk with a mobile QB, but you don't limit him taking off when he needs to. What you do is improve the OL, improve the WR corp. so that the need to scramble isn't there as often. You improve the defense so that desperation mode doesn't kick in as often. I don't see people scared about Kaepernick or Wilson getting hurt.

    WE CAN BREATHE...HALLEJUAH!!

    Redskins announce RG3 has a knee sprain. MRI shows "everything is clear." No serious ligament damage.

    @granthpaulsen
    A #Redskins' spokesman says Robert Griffin's MRI was negative. He's been diagnosed with a sprained knee.

    Thankfully nothing serious. Hope that warrior can suit up for next week.
