Cunningham did't have plays that were designed for him to run the ball as part of the game plan nor did Vick. RG is literally in an offense that is 75/25 on run plays depending on what the DE or OLB does. At that point if they take the runner on the play fake he runs or possibly throws at best but many times runs. RG is exposed at this point much more as a runner due to scheme than Randell or Vick ever were.
We keep this up for a long time and you'll find yourself rooting for Cousins or some other QB.
We gave up a lot for RG and I want him learning how to tear defenses with his arm 98% of the time and the other 2% is defended 50% of the time.

He could have gone out of bounds but he cut back in... he was in the air with Ngata hit him, looked like the knee hyperextended causing a sprain... after the concussion and this hit, he's going to get out of bounds more to take less hits... still, he's going to be sore tomorrow and have stiffness for at least a couple of days... pretty sure Cousins takes first team reps on Wednesday.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109
I'm pretty sure Cunningham (and most running QBs) had designed runs as part of the offense.
But its not just Cunningham. What about Steve Young, John Elway, Fran Tarkenton, and Donovan McNabb? They all had long careers. The idea that a running QB is doomed to a short career is officially debunked in my mind.

The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "
Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
Al-hamdulillah....way to go Robert...Please take it easy this week....
And you need to find another place to "hang out." I told you before, if you're going to try to "hang out" here in the stadium you needed to learn the rules specifically, and the lay of the land in general. It's enough to respond to matters involving redskins fans without cleaning up after some lost giants fan. this is twice now today. if you want to post on ES about your team, do in atn in an appropriate thread. if i am drawn to your posts again by a valid report, you won't be doing it in any ES forum for a good chunk of time.

I think the brace may become a permanent fixture lol. Is the right knee the same knee that he tore his ACL in college?
Aaaaannnnd now the finger pointing begins. FYI, the injury occured on a scramble not a designed run.
Just be happy it's just a sprain. Quit finding someone to blame.
