Cunningham did't have plays that were designed for him to run the ball as part of the game plan nor did Vick. At that point if they take the runner on the play fake he runs or possibly throws at best but many times runs. RG is exposed at this point much more as a runner due to scheme than Randell or Vick ever were.

We appear to be lucky. More I look at it on replay, looks like a nasty hyperextension. I would not get away with that with my body make up but some unique athletes can bend in crazy ways. We/he Just got lucky on the angle. He could walk on it but I think after the throw to Garcon, it hyperextended again when he planted. Just my thoughts. Knee brace will protect it but limit mobility. I think he plays next week.

He could have gone out of bounds but he cut back in... he was in the air with Ngata hit him, looked like the knee hyperextended causing a sprain... after the concussion and this hit, he's going to get out of bounds more to take less hits... still, he's going to be sore tomorrow and have stiffness for at least a couple of days... pretty sure Cousins takes first team reps on Wednesday.

I'm pretty sure Cunningham (and most running QBs) had designed runs as part of the offense.

But its not just Cunningham. What about Steve Young, John Elway, Fran Tarkenton, and Donovan McNabb? They all had long careers. The idea that a running QB is doomed to a short career is officially debunked in my mind.

I told you before, if you're going to try to "hang out" here in the stadium you needed to learn the rules specifically, and the lay of the land in general.
