    huh?

This was directly about your team. I said you guys need to win out...forget it, you guys are way to picky over here...I'm out. Hopefully we can both find our way to the playoffs.

Can we stop with any assumption that RGIII is any more/less vulnerable than most QB's on any givem play? We ran the pistol option 6 times last week & maybe 5 times this week. He ran on a few plays when NOTHING was open. I'd take that kind of option 25 times over a standstill statue in the pocket. It's not like he's running in spite of himeself...he's running to make positive results when nothing else is there. So he takes a whump or two...doesn't any QB not behind a dominant O-line???

Good news on the MRI. I will still be nervous about this injury until we get an official injury report later in the week. Hopefully our guy is good to go by this weekend.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "

Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.

That actually doesn't help, long-term, or every player in the league would wear braces on both knees to prevent injury. The knee needs to support itself long-term to be structurally sound.

Only reason he was running on that play is because Royster abandoned his blocking assignment early and left an unblocked blitzer come free. RGIII had no choice but to run. He could have gone out of bounds or stayed wide, but Royster sure has been terrible this year.

You gotta think that him being a track and field player previously has a lot to due with the strength and conditioning of his legs. So glad to hear the positive MRI results.

At that point if they take the runner on the play fake he runs or possibly throws at best but many times runs. RG is exposed at this point much more as a runner due to scheme than Randell or Vick ever were.

We keep this up for a long time and you'll find yourself rooting for Cousins or some other QB.

We gave up a lot for RG and I want him learning how to tear defenses with his arm 98% of the time and the other 2% is defended 50% of the time.
dawg, the worse hits RG3 takes are in the pocket.

The Redskins need to improve the OLine.

People need to stop listening to what the media are saying about RG3 and actually remember what he happens during the game. The Redskins OLine is the one of hte worst pass protection units in the NFL.

Why would anyone want to limit RG3's athletic ability to shoehorn him into a traditional drop back QB when we have a terrible OLine? I dont understand this at all.

exactly, these folks are running with ESPN talking points and ignoring what they are seeing every week

But its not just Cunningham. What about Steve Young, John Elway, Fran Tarkenton, and Donovan McNabb? They all had long careers. The idea that a running QB is doomed to a short career is officially debunked in my mind.
    exactly.

Dang I'm really glad he's okay but man we have to a better job of protecting him. In the pocket and out of. We have to dedicate ourselves to making sure he is protected.

There was another one where Griffin was already out of bounds and the Ravens player hit him to the ground while everyone's feet were in the chalk. It was an illegal hit.

The Ravens, like many of the teams we played, went out to play dirty against RG3 specifically. The Rams, Bengals, Cowboys and today stand out but I might have missed someone. Oh, the Eagles but more because of two instances that I recall.
I'm talking about the one where he got up and looked at the officials for a call. The one where he was still in bounds and got hit. He was fair game. And I'm not sure if that's the same one where he got contacted in the helmet or not, but all I know is he's got to start his slide sooner or something near the sidelines. Better yet, just get out of bounds while he has the opportunity.

And are people really saying the hit where he was injured was dirty? Not even close. Just hope he regains full movement this week and doesn't miss any more time.

Subtle jokes like that will be taken 100% seriously around here when it comes to RGIII. People are ridiculous.
