Agreed this off-season I'd make a highlight reel of all the hits he has taken (the unneccesary ones) and stress to him that it is OKAY to quit on plays sometimes. Live to fight another day. And I like our line as far as run blocking but our pass pro still needs a bit of work. We are making progress, I just don't like seeing our Lambo getting treated like a Honda on some of these plays. It has to get to a point where if anybody touches Griffin it's an insult to us as a team.

Do we sit him against Cleveland? (Not an easy game even with RG3)
With RG3 tweeting "Your positive vibes and prayers worked people!!!! To God be the Glory!" I'm guessing this isn't a low grade sprain. If it was almost torn, I'm sure he wouldn't be this happy. BTW I heard that it was also a contusion, which someone said was a bruise. I have no clue what to expect after all of these posts.
CSN is reporting that the MRI results came back negative and it is a contusion (bruise). It could still be bad but probably not as bad as a sprain.
A contusion now? I guess i'm going to wait for Mike's presser tomorrow
Limiting the use of his God-given athleticism that no team can stop is beyond stupid.
He is arguably the greatest playmaker in the NFL right now because of that ability. Using it as a "last resort" limits how great of a player he can be, and this team.
And Cunningham didnt play in a Super Bowl because Gary Anderson missed a 35 yard field goal
Tarkenton went to 3 super bowls. You are not making any sense
we arent. Baltimore have as bad of a pass rush as we have, and yet they camped in the backfield today whenever the Redskins were in an obvious pass situation. They stink and have stunk all year. Wanting RG3 to take a 5 step drop behind this line is beyond stupid.
If you read the end of this:

It says Chick Hernandez was told its a knee contusion, which is a bruise. If that's true I think he's playing next week (knock on wood).
Absolutely, and mine happened in the tropics 50 miles from a hospital, so I had no real support. Thing is, tendon injuries are always the slowest healing, regardless of who you are. I just hope Morris shows ready to put 200 yards on the Browns and we just keep feeding him. I think this should be a fairly easy win for us if we just take care of business. Richardson is a strong runner, but they aren't getting much on the ground because you don't have to respect their pass at all. We're built to beat a team like this, as we're ready for run-first offenses.
A contusion wouldn't be nearly as bad. Just rest will help heal it.
a contusion would be even better news in my non-medically professional opinion
You are numbnuts! What you said is very offensive!
Did anyone else feel like they were watching Daniel Larusso at the end of Karate Kid when Griffin walked back out?

A contusion is good news with the way it looked on tape.
