Thanks, I knew there is strict protocol for head injuries, wasn't sure about the others types of injuries, positive news on the LCL sprain only being a level 1.

i don't understand the rules on this. the patriots list like half their team as questionable every single week, and nobody takes it seriously and just says "pff it's the patriots". why don't they have to be honest?

honestly, that's a really good question.

all i know is the Redskins can't throw around terms like "Grade 1 Sprain" if it isn't actually true without risking getting fined like they did before. I'm not sure how Belicheat gets away with it all the time

The problem is Ngata probably figures Robert is gonna slide feet first and that hit was aimed right where his head/neck would have been. I'm almost glad he went head first because we are probably talking about a way more serious injury had it not played out the way it did.

I can't say for sure, but good thing for the Skins and RG3 that it was a mild injury. He needs to learn to protect himself more or he "can" end up injured worse like Vick has throughout his career.

Sliding is also dangerous because there's a chance you jam your leg/foot into the turf and injure yourself. Sliding is when the coast is clear. Falling backwards or forwards or half-sliding is better when there is traffic because you CANNOT TRUST defenders. You guys should have seen that with the Atlanta game. That was a cheap shot as I recently proved and was done with the aim of hitting him in the head.[/QU

I just googled "how long does a knee sprain take to heal?"

I got answers saying 4-6 weeks.

i believe Dr Andrews also uses this tactic to diagnose injuries..
