That leather kilt's pretty sweet though.

I don't know why they let him have so much time
They cut the Stones
Just should have taken him out and given The Who more time lol

I have to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow and I am sitting here past midnight jamming to Billy Joel tunes. Damn
Gonna pay tomorrow
Same here. I had planned on being in bed about two hours ago. Had a few long nights in a row, but screw it. I think this has been a great show for a great cause. I missed the Stones, but I have seen everything else. I called in and donated, and had to wait a while on hold. It was one of the few times that I did not mind being on hold. That meant a lot of other people were calling.
Michael Stipe just popping up out of nowhere to sing with Chris Martin: "Losing my Religion"
Amazing

Amazing concert. Amazing. Epic.
They brought out Grohl but it was for one song.
Gonna be contrarian here and say I loved Kanye's set. Great mix of his old and new material, he sounded pretty into it as well.
The Who had the best set of the night. Bell Boy absolutely killed and was a great surprise.
The Stones can kiss my ass. Two songs and a smartass comment from Mick. Maybe they had no say in the matter, but I have no idea why you would give the Stones a shorter set than Kanye.

Out of all the acts that performed, I'd argue the Stones have the best collection of music, but my God are they old. A full R.E.M. set would've been better if they are going with old acts. Wish we could get a Zeppelin reunion. They sounded pretty damn good in their 2007 concert. Better than the Stones have been for at least a decade.
Well, nobody wants 8 hours of modern rappers flaunting their chains at a relief concert. So once you rule all that out, you really only have a handful of rock bands worth seeing that are popular enough for this type of show. I mean what, Killers, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and Black Keys? But we could always get One Direction or Bieber out....and I'd rather not have to sit through stuff like John Mayer....Only the Stones were clearly not in condition to perform.
Pissed I never got to see this.
Darn lax UK stations.
Rhetorical question, but did Macca bring the house down?
Hail.
The best part of the evening was The Who and an appearance by Keith Moon and the song "Bell Boy".![]()
