    Default "Running QBs" Winning Superbowls

I have a question if Redskins fail to make it all the way and the 49ers are in the Superbowl would you root for Colin Kaepernick? Just so people will stop saying that running QBs never win the SB?

Why do I care what people say? Will it make it more likely that RG3 wins a super bowl ONLY if other people say he can?

With the new Pistol running QBs its different, as they (RG3, Colin) have the option to run it or pass it on every play. People think its "Gimmicky"

There has never been a quarterback to win the Super Bowl that had a rushing attempt? Weird stat.

If we put a defense around RG3, I have no doubt he's gonna bring us a SB(If he stays healthy)

I would never root for the 49ers.

I disagree with Harbaugh sticking with Kaepernick... sends a bad message to players and I think it will bite him in the ass in the playoffs.

Next "they" will add parameters like "no QB who has ever run more than X amount of times per game has ever won a Super Bowl". SMH...

I don't really care about the general perception at this moment. I think people will look back 10 years from now at what we're doing and it will be discussed as an innovation akin to New England implementing the spread with Brady. I can't predict the future and winning a Super is very difficult, but I think we'll be in position to challenge for a championship for a long time.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

Elway and Young ran some, but not anywhere near as much as Griffin (or Kaepernick) does.

I'm not rooting for the 49ers because ... well I don't like them. And if a QB is going to win a superbowl in a new and unique way, I want it to be our guy.

Dont forget Joe Montana - he ran for 60 yards and a TD in '84 when his 49ers beat Marinos Dolphins.

How is it different than what Gibbs did to Schroeder by sticking with Williams?
