Thoughts on how this offensive line produces in pass pro, or in obvious passing situations, or even in a more conventional drop back passing attack? It's performed ver well in this scheme........which ultimately what matters.......but it's always seemed this groups main weakness has been pass pro which makes a guy wonder if an upgrade is needed to deal with those games where we are playing from behind or simply can't run.
The question wasn't whether or not Cousins was a wasted pick, but rather or not he can sing.
I think it's safe to say that the staff thinks very highly of Compton, so I think that was a good pick. Ribs and Gettis still need more time and I think if we hit on 2 out of 3, we should look at it as a win. Especially if we get a tenor in the 5th this year.

Im used to not having our 1-3 round picks so I completely forgot about leribeus
I for one am very glad that we haven't seen the three rookie offensive linemen play this year because that means we have not had injuries on the OL like in past years. Offensive lines need time to play together as a unit and except for Polumbus I think the OL has played well. I think Redskins fans are not used to having draft choices and alot of the fans for some reason think all the draft picks should be playing right away. That drives me crazy. We got lucky with Alfred Morris but for the most part you do not want 3rd and 5th round draft picks to come in and start right away. In hindsight I would say now that I wish they would have drafted DB's instead of some of the O linemen they drafted due to all the injuries/suspensions the Redskins have had in the secondary but I can't really complain about it now because I was like all of the other posters on here before the draft saying we need to fix the OL.
As my mom always used to tell me, patience is a virtue.
The aforementioned line rooks, along with Compton, are learning and developing. They'll get their chance when the coaches feel their ready.
Their still here. All on the active roster. That's all anyone needs to know to feel confident we have something in all three, if only for quality depth. (But hopefully one or more turns into more than that.).
Patience.
Hail.
Jamal Brown will cost us $1.1M if we release him after 1 June 2013 and there would be a cost of $2.2 dead cap in 2014. Rather not have that but its not crippling and its very hard to see any way Brown is on the roster in 2013. As for Carriker he signed a new 4 year deal at the start of this year and is under contract through 2015 - and if there was any doubt after he got 5.5 sacks last year we have seen what his value is to this defense this year with him being injured. It will good ti have him back next year.
