Seriously though, we don't really need a big name receiver, we just need anybody who can quickly run routes and catch. Don't need to pay money for someone special. Garcon is enough.

I'd go with one of the cheaper ones, like D Amendola. He could be deadly with us, if he could stay healthy (big "if" there).

And besides, if you can't beat 'em, sign 'em.

He's also 4 years older than Moss. If we are keeping one savvy vet, I'd vote for Moss over Driver. I'd vote for Moss over Randy Moss too.

These guys will be definitely be on our roster year. Why would we want to add another high priced wr with the current state of the defense
    Don't forget Morgan in there.

I think we should make the biggest FA splash for a DB like a jairius byrd .. I'm ok with adding a solid reciever as long as it isn't the focal point

I'd take a shot at Welker or Bowe because I think they fit with our other receivers well but the rest are meh to me. I doubt we'll be able to with the cap sitch

We have bigger concerns at secondary, dline and oline. If there is money left over, then another reciever couldn't hurt to really compliment garcon.

    My thought, exactly!

I swear .. the kids around here! Never happy. We finally, arguably have one of the (THE?!) most explosive offenses in the league (and they'll be monstrous next year with another year to gel) and people want to waste more money on a receiver?!

How about shoring up one of the worst defensive backfields in the league?! Not to mention we lose another $18MILL in cap next year due to that collusive ******* Mara!

We don't need a big name receiver but I'd take one more big game receiver. However, I do agree with those that say we just need more depth elsewhere.

Strange to be saying that about the Washington Redskins, ain't it?

We need a slot like the kid in St. Louis or Bess from Miami or I hate to say it but Welker or Edelman from NE.

I saw Merriman die on the vine up here in New England and he is not a great talent...just a head hunter who slid into the pro bowl a few years ago. Need a safety that will stay on the field.

Amendola plays tough. I would love him on this team.
