Seriously? This was a scenario that was possible from the end of the game last week, why push the guy unless needed? I would not be surprised to see Cousins play fine and RGIII enjoy some well earned and needed rest for this game. Not saying the Browns are a laydown game, but health of a franchise QB comes ahead of any one individual win, even a playoff game/.

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.

Pretty much. SInce it's been widely reported that the decision wasn't up to any of the coaches or Robert.

I think its a mistake to not let Griffin decide if he can play or not.

Sure if playing tomorrow threatens his career far more than a single game does, yeah, lets hear it doc.

Early indications was that this was not that severe of an injury. While it looked really bad, it turned out a grade 1 LCL.

I think this is the right call by the staff. Good for them. A lesser coach would put him out there. RGIII is more important than winning one game
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

There is only preseason and 20 min of real NFL film on the Captain. I hate that RG3 is out, but I am very excited to see what Kirk can do. My gut says our team rallies around Kirk and each other to make a very good game out of it for us.

Norvousness be damned! It's gonna be a great game!

I'm dead serious. This game scares the crap out of me now. I have faith in Kirk b/c I'm a fan of the Redskins, but unfortunately, he hasn't played enough for me to really feel comfortable. I hope he goes out there and lights the Browns up! I guess we'll see tomorrow!

But really the first time in fifteen years that I have a 100% chance that we will not win the game. And what makes this worse is we have an Eagles team that just got humiliated on national television with a ten day rest coming up next
Don't be ridiculous. Of course it will be worth it! We still have a great shot at winning.

You beat me to it,was going to say the same thing. Can't hurt to have a good young back-up around. This situation is apt to play out again more than once.A good reserve QB is worth alot, probably more than a hit or miss draft pick.

Another thing. Griffin already misses one game his rookie year. I know your all thinking it but I'm going to say it: will he be injury prone like a Vick? I mean heck man this isn't good, Atlanta , and now this.

We win by 10 or more. Book it, The Browns are BAD.

Our front end steps up, takes care of Richardson, and the boneheaded arm of Weeden does the rest.

    Keep the faith Dave.

    Hail.

Don't underestimate the browns defense they are a very good unit. But when you talk about the 2007 New England game at least we had a better defense and only were giving up about 20 points per game call me crazy but I thought we had a slight chance (25%) to win that game.
