Hopefully you can sell your tickets somewhere else.Take them to the ticket exchange now or list them on a Cowboy's site.It's one thing to make a profit it's another to gouge.Don't really care too much if you think this highjacking your thread or not.

It's not gouging.... this is like the super bowl of games... they raise ticket prices to a big amount for the super bowl too. That's the going rate! Might even be a little low! drjiveturkey will sell them just fine.

For where those seats are located that is over priced,even in this market.There were lower priced tickets on Ebay and Craig's List yesterday in the lower bowls.The perspective seller's price is around 7x face value,the forum guidelines suggest that tics be less than 20% over face.

Oh no doubt, which is why I'm not saying he's flat wrong. I'm just pointing out that ES doesn't charge him 10% or whatever for listing/selling here, which is part of the reason it is encouraged to cut other Skins fans a small break. Nowhere is it being suggested that he sell the tickets for face value; it's not the current market and that's understood. And I'd much rather that Skins fans be able to make a profit than have to dump their tickets for $5 because the team is awful.

on stub hub right now, $850 one section over on the aisle, same row and by selling here you don't have to pay fees like a stubhub. I honestly would like to see people on here selling their tickets for current market value, minus whatever fees you would have paid on a stubhub or whatever. a fair price for these is in the $700 range.

I am not tapped into this scene, but I trust people that are and are telling you you're gouging. If another mod like mark the Homer who really knows this turf takes an action, fine, but if I get any more complaints from members like those in this thread you will be permanently banned. The only reason you aren't banned right now is because I have seen you post on football in the stadium. Also, don't ever let me see you tell trusted members who have been here far longer than you what the rules are---that actually doesn't smell good either, that you feel you have to put a preventive defense in your post. Okay here are my comments.

Almost all or perhaps all the prices you see on Stubhub and the so called Ticket Exchange are speculative prices. They are fishing prices. That means they are not real. They are phantom "seller is crossing his fingers hoping to find a sucker" prices. Real people aren't really paying these prices. If you see tickets on Stubhub in Section 212 "going for" $450 each, they are not really going for $450 each. Somebody is trying to sell them for $450 each. There is a big big difference between trying to sell and selling. The truth is, tickets are not selling in Section 212 for $450 each.

But they have sold. Yes, tickets have sold, on Stubhub, in Section 212. So how much?


$400 each? No.

$350 each? No.

$300 each? No.

So don't fall for this guy's BS.

Be patient and wait. You have the advantage and they know it. His tix won't be worth a penny in two weeks. Prices will drop as kickoff approaches. Watch.

The OP is not interested in paying Stubhub's 15% selling fee. His goal is to maximize his profit, by selling his tickets for $450 each to a fellow ES member, cleverly by-passing the stubhub fee.
