Guys, I feel we all know the cards are going to fall for week 17 being for the division and a playoff spot. My dad called it before the season even started, and it will be a flex game. Thing is, that thanksgiving game was not an anomoly, and we've proved it by winning 5 games in a row. Even in the event of this matchup, I feel we're the better team at home.

Relax. We know what's going to happen, it's just all the stress and pressure that comes with being a fan that drives us to continue being fans. This is going to be historically epic, hell ya.

We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...

Yes you are correct if the Giants bears and viking lose 1 of there last 2 games and we win 1 of the last 2 we clinch a wildcard spot. The bears play the cardinals and the lions though so we better win the division lol. It would be great if all 3 of those teams lost this weekend and we beat Philly to clinch atleast a playoff spot so then going into the dallas game no matter what we would know were in the DANCE.....But were gonna win the last 2 anyways right.... Any team can lose on any given Sunday, but this is not the same Redskins team that started this season, and that's why we are on this roll.

Our team is coming together, something very dangerous for any opponent right now. We finally have some weapons and this team has turned the corner and taken that step. Can we get beat? of course. Can we roll through the playoffs and into the Super Bowl? Your damn right we could! We just need to worry about Philly for now, so that NY doesn't steal this division from the Redskins or Cowboys.

Call me a homer but if we beat the Eagles, I just don't see us losing to the Girls after going 6 in a row. I mean did you guys watch yesterday the Girls win over the Steelers? Both of those team seem to be running on fumes and a prayer.

thread title is not quite correct. if the cowboys and redskins both lose next week, and the giants win out, then the g-men take the crown regardless of this game. it will still almost certainly hold playoff implications, though.

Title says "In the event of a 3 way tie"...
If what you described happened..it wouldnt be a 3 way tie...

Guys I maybe wrong but if we win next week and Giants and Dallas lose next week, wouldnt we clinch the NFC-EAST spot? Because we would be 4-1 in division at that point, the best Dallas could do is tie it up if they get lucky and win final game then both division record would be 4-2. But if you look at the conference record, we would be 7-5 and the best dallas could do if they lose to New Orleans would be 6-6.

I dont want to see any one of them win it. It would be great if we win this thing being that we are in control. Anything else would be disappointing. The whole thing that kinda sucks is if we do get in the playoffs, we dont have a playoff defense. Offense is playoff caliber but defense is not. Defense played with alot of heart these past couple of weeks but its missing one important part. PASS RUSH. We dont have a pass rush at all. Its non existent. The qbs we will face in the playoffs are gonna take big time advantage of that. The offense is gonna have to score atleast 28 or more points to have a shot moving up in the playoffs if we make it there.

Lets all focus our positive energy on beating the Philthydelphia Iggles on Sunday. If we lose to them, it makes getting to the playoffs harder. And if we lose to them, either the Giants or the Cowboys will take the division.

Let's bury the Eagles like they've done to us too many times in the recent past.

Record in the Conference is 3rd on the tiebreaking procedure. Common games are #2 and Dallas beats us on this one even if they lose against NO 9-5 to 8-6.

The most important game for us right now, is not even our game against the eagles that is meaningless. Our fate belongs in the hands of the Giants and the Baltimore in the point that, should the Giants lose the game, whatever happens for the cowboys against NO, even if we lose against the eagles, we would still get the crown by beating the cowboys in week 17. We would then be 2-0 against them.

Now, as it's already been stated, if the Bears, Vikings and Giants all lose on sunday, a win against the eagles would garantee us a spot in the playoffs.
RG3 does not stand for Rex Grossman 3rd year as a Redskins starting QB.

It's funny how the season played out. At the beginning the NFC-East was being looked at as the weaker division this year in regards to how many playoff teams would come from it. Three of the four teams are competeting for a spot in the end with the potential of two teams entering the playoffs. Never count out the NFC-East.

our fate doesnt belong in anyones hands any more. the skins control their own destiny. win out and who cares what everyone else does. the skins have to think this way or a let down will happen.
