Oh.. 6 time pro bowl tackle Tom Compton. The rookie who did not beat out Jordan Black to be the back up tackle. OK. How silly of me. :P

he came in to camp underweight so it's not surprise he was trying to cheat his way back to weight. He was also trying to consume a **** ton of calories IIRC.

Welp, whatever it was, it certainly wasn't working... Most PED's actually make you better, never seen one that made you suck...

I still don't know why Richard Sherman is able to play, while his appeal keeps getting pushed back when Black's appeal has already been denied apparently.

Oh Well. Next man up. I actually think Compton will do a much better job than Polumbus and Black

My concern is that if he was that bad, and Shanny didn't put Tom Compton over him on the depth chart, why are we comfortable with Tom Compton suddenly?

He's not good. He wasn't good when we signed him in the preseason, he hasn't been good in spot duty so far, and he wasn't all that great in Kansas City either.

I scratched my head as to why he was even signed in the first place. Not a huge loss, IMO.

****, seriously? Oh well, time for Compton to step up. Maybe promote another PS guy/sign a FA for any depth at all if Polumbus' concussion is bad enough to keep him out next week.

Out of that list, probably Moll is going to be the one. IIRC, he was with us in camp.

    Two Words: Jeff Otah

Free agent OT Jeff Otah is training with former Saints and Browns C LeCharles Bentley in an effort to improve his conditioning and get back in the NFL.If Otah is truly motivated to turn his career around at age 26, he certainly could help a team as a starting right tackle. He could probably even start at left tackle for some clubs. Otah is at Bentley's "O-Line Academy" in Cleveland, trying to rebuild himself. "I believe he's definitely going to be ready this season," Bentley said of Otah. "At what point in the season, I'm not sure." Aug 22 - 2:20 PM
