Yes, we'd have to lose to Philly...If we beat Philly, our game vs Dallas will have playoff meaning for us, period.

If we lose to Philly and other things go against us both in week 16 and 17, then its possible we are eliminated prior to kickoff of Dallas game.

If we lose to Philly and the Cowboys and Giant's lose then we aren't eliminated.

I think a lot of people keep for forgetting that the last 2 times we played in Seattle we won. They were not playoff games, but it shows we can go over there and win. I was at both games, and there was a sea of B&G in the stands. We represent well over here on the west coast. I'm not scared to play in Seattle, in fact I would welcome it, because I would get to go!!!

Actually we can lose to Philly and if the Giants lose, the Cowboys Redskins game is still for the NFC East regardless of whether the Cowboys win or lose against the Saints. We would end up with the same record and we would have the head to head tie breaker.

So we need the Bears, Giants, and Viking to lose this weekend and if we beat Philly we're in. Only one that seems tricky are the Bears losing to the Cardinals, but who knows.

If the Cards defense steps up like they did against the Lion offense then I expect them to win. That 58-0 shutout loss to the Seahawks really fired up their locker room and woke them up. I expect them to continue with a Bear beat down.

No looking ahead. Philadelphia would love to ruin our season. I hope the players are motivated to win this week. It is the biggest game the team has played in years.

Think of it this way, if I am in the Ravens organization and am looking at the playoff situation, I would pull out every trick in the book against the Giants to win because if we win the division we could play at home against a Colts team that have not looked good on the road at all this year. Many people are saying that the Ravens have nothing to play for but if I was a Ravens fan I would think that this would be a huge game. For some odd reason I think the Arizona game maybe a possible trap game for the bears.

Plus the Ravens have lost 3 in a row and I'm positive that they want to get out of that funk and not go into the playoffs having lost 4 or 5 in a row.

2. Redskins lose to Eagles, beat Cowboys. Under this scenerio we'd need a little help, but I think it is very likely we'd get that help. We would finish ahead if the Cowboys. We would then need the Giants to lose one and we'd still win the East.

If we lose to Philly and Giants lose to Ravens....last game of the season is for the East REGARDLESS of Cowboys beating Saints or not.
Redskins go from 8-6 to 8-7
Cowboys go from 8-6 to 9-6

Redskins win...both teams go to 9-7 and Redskins have tie breaker.

Or you can flip all that and the Cowboys win the last game after losing to the Saints. They have the tie breaker (common opponents)

The only way the Cowboys-Saints game "matters" to us is if you think their mentality going into that game matters. If Dallas loses to NO, and the Giants beat Baltimore, there is a good chance Dallas will be eliminated by the time we play week 17....I'm honestly not sure if that would deflate them or if they'd want to take out frustration in a no-pressure situation. I am almost inclined to hope they win, setting up the showdown...not like they've excelled in that spot in recent years...

The Ravens need a win and can win the division, Texans win and they get a 1st round bye, and the Cards defense is motivated and tough and if they were able to shut down Stafford & Megatron they can do the same to Cutler & co. These teams won't roll over. I know...it's all wishful thinking, but I feel it.

If/when we win Sunday, Cowboys were to lose...then the Skins/Cowboys game still is critical. If we win out, makes no difference, but if we end with the same record as the Cowboys and they were to win on the 30th, we would end with the same record, same divisional record (4-2) then Dallas would still have the tie breaker for common teams.

If alot of other things happen (3 teams lose) we would lock a wildcard, but the Cardinals would have to win....doubtful. Stay focused and win out. The Cowboys game will be the biggest game at Fex Ex in years and we need to win.
