You're just used to the Redskins blowing every big chance they get. This is a different team. We break bad streaks.

Is it too inflammatory to say that, if you are so worried about wildcard scenarios, it shows a lack of faith in the Redskins' ability to beat Dallas next week?

Man you are old enough to remember 1979. I would rather have a wild card in the back pocket, then to go into next week with hearts pounding and palms sweating knowing the loser stays home.

Yeah and that's not totally out of the question either....Giants currently down, Vikings play Green Bay (who won't make the mistake of resting Rogers again) next week, and Seahawks have the 49ers and a Rams team that's playing well... BUT....Let's just beat Dallas and all this crap don't matter. Cheers.

So..a loss by Minn (vs GB) Chi (vs Arz or Det) and Giants (vs Bal or Phi) and we could still win a PO berth with a loss? That's actually realistic. Detroit is very capable of beating Chicago. Baltimore and Philly should give NY a run for their money. And GB is going to beat Min. I am sure of that.

Nah it would be very hard for Dallas to get that wild card due to their loss today. (assuming the giants win out). Bears and Vikings would both have to drop one.

I'd say asking for the Giants to lose either this week or next, Vikings to lose to Packers and Bears to lose to Lions next week is pretty slim.

How don't we win the division this week now that we won, Dallas lost, and if the Giants lose? We'd be one game up on both of them so even if we lose next week we'd be tied. I thought the first tiebreaker went to records vs the division. no?
