Playoff Scenerio Thread (Just The Facts)

I have to say, this is the happiest 6 weeks I've had as a fan since 1991. And hosting those damned Cowboys for the division... priceless.

I'm thinking the Vikings will go down to the Packers, I'm kind of confident that the Lions will not lay down for the Bears, and give them a fight. I am a nervous individual, so I'd like to have the added comfort that win or lose, the Skins will be in the playoffs. Of course, I want to squelch the Cowboys on national TV. That is a dream ending. Especially seeing the giants step on their wangs 2 weeks in a row.
I wasn't totally aware of the 1982 NFC Championship (I was young). I want to hear the Chant, and see the crowd going absolutely ape-****. I think our 'Skins will feed off of that, and emotion will blow the Cowboys completely out of the stadium. That's my hope anyway. I also fear Romo a little like I used to fear Aikman, or how my father used to fear and loathe Staubach. And Dez... my Lord he's blossomed. It'll be tough to stop their offense.

Bottom line, I want the DC area to host a playoff game. As do all Redskins fans. HTTR!

Man this is what sucks most about being a Skins fan in California. I would give both my arms to be at the next game and hear the crowd. I bet it is going to be magical. Instead I will be at a Sports Bar cheering on our team with pride. This is the greatest season in my lifetime. And it is crazy to think we have many more seasons like this to come.

Can someone explain to me why the cowboys take the division title from us if they win? Our records would be tied, so why do they have the tiebreaker?

2. Division record - we both be at 4-2
3. Common Opponents - they are up 1. Thats how they would get in.

That's interesting turn of events for the Eagles. Vick will come in with a chip on his shoulder to prove he is the starter and not the backup type. I see the Giants losing this one.

Maybe not but the Bears have been up and down all season long. Hopefully, they take Detriot for granted and get beat. I am hoping we win the NFCE, big time. We will have to see.

In hindsight it's pretty funny that many ESers were distraught about Seattle beating Chicago a few weeks back. That was clearly a GOOD thing for us.
