263 pounds ... you all think that is accurate.

pretty big in today's standard for a LB. I like it ...

You really think signing a guy off another team's practice squad infers consideration to trade a pro bowl pass rusher?

Absolutely not, but I do wonder if the emergence of Rob Jackson (though he's no Rak) and Lorenzo Alexander, combined with our crippling deficiency at FS might tempt the FO to consider a swap with a team that is DB heavy and light on pass rushers, particularly a 4-3 team. I did NOT say such a trade is likely, but rather wondered if perhaps they are exploring a contingency plan should such a worthwhile offer present itself.

Remember zo got hurt this past week an so'oto plays teams plus we have khel to play ilb in place of what zo does in case he can't go.

Ok,nevermind. I remember Zo coming off the field but didn't realize it might be serious. My bad.

Considering the relative lack of consistent pass rush from this team most of this season, I find most of this talk idiotic. It is obvious that Rak makes the pass rush go on this team right now, and while Jackson has played well for a reserve, he is still just that, a reserve.

This is the time of year when you are looking for guys who could potentially help you next year and you can put on the bottom of your roster. Vic seems to be one of those guys.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed linebacker Vic So’oto to their active roster from the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad and free agent guard Pat Boyle to the team’s practice squad. In addition, the team released linebacker Kourtnei Brown from their practice squad.

So’oto (6-3, 263) was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as a college free agent out of Brigham Young on July 28, 2011. He was inactive for Weeks 1-3 with Green Bay before making his NFL debut in Week 4. He appeared in seven games for the Packers in 2011, totaling seven tackles (five solo), one sack and adding three tackles on special teams.

Boyle was born on May 30, 1990, and attended Calvert Hall H.S. in Towson, Md. He garnered 2007 All-MIAA Conference honors, named to the Maryland Varsity Dream Team and was selected as an All-Star by the Baltimore Touchdown Club.

didn't this get put up earlier today? If not I am having a serious deja vu.

In any case, this dude looks like a baller. Watched some highlights of him on youtube and he's definitely got some potential as a ball hawking OLB and pass rusher.

I think he did while tackling Josh Gordon. I didn't notice it but I heard that he was back on coverages after the injury. I agree though... he'll get some work on teams.

Get him Riggo, I've got your back ; )

I think this move has more to do with teams and that he was BPA after losing Black's spot on the roster. Wouldn't mind getting him some reps.
