Is that strange to anyone else? Hurt is usually a guard IIRC. I really hope he's able to handle being on the outside

Me too BMac, I don't remember being this nervous about a game for quite some time. I think it is the ghost of Redskins teams past creeping into our heads. I just keep thinking that the Skins are anew and with Griff they can bury the let downs of the past and move into the Redskins team of present. Put this dog out of our misery with a solid game today, and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.
Maurice better bring it today.
maybe there's something i'm forgetting, but if we win and both the cowboys and giants lose, do we clinch the division?
This is one of those crazy division games that the favored team really should win, but "any given Sunday." Effectively losing your starting and backup RT in the span of 8 hours hurts. But, you have to think that it's going to take more than bad RT play for the 'Skins to lose this game.
What worries me is the defense. They've played much better the last 3-4 weeks, though they are prone to the occasional brain cramp and give up a big play. If philly can string a few of those together, Robert has a little rust, it could be closer than it should be.
But, since the beginning of November, the 'Skins have answered every question. So, there is good reason for optimism.
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train.

Polumbus has been pretty solid in run blocking, and slightly below average at pass blocking.
But moving a guard to RT when he hasn't been practicing there consistently is a concern no matter what.

Actually, it's Giants, Bears and Vikings loss, and we clinch a wild card.
