The chances of Washington getting in without winning next week are pretty thin, we should probably for our sake accept the fact it isn't going to happen.

I would give up my left nut to see my Skins make it to the playoff this season but if we don't it has been a hell of a season and next year we are going to be a beast!!!!! I can't ****ing wait for next week and next year!!!
He will be 100% against Dallas. I believe so.
Anyways, we want RG3 to be 100% as a thrower where he is infinitely more valuable, running is nice and all but I am worried about his air stats next week.
This matchup scares the hell out of me, I almost don't even want to watch.
The few times Griffin needed to escape pressure today, he escaped pressure. The one play where he jogged out of bounds there was no one near him. He didn't need to move full speed. There were about three occasions after that where he escaped pressure right in his face and looked to throw down field. He moved much faster on those plays when he needed to. He's not hurt; he's just being cautious.
Sean you were one hell of a safety and an even greater role model for young men like myself. You played my position with the same reckless abandone I play it with. More importantly, you WEREN'T perfect and you MADE mistakes, a lot like me, and you were growing and maturing into a man, a lot like what I'm trying to do. And the fact that you're gone now only motivates me more, as a safety and as a young man, to carry on your legacy.

Another full week to get better and prep for Dallas, I'd be willing to bet he's gonna be even better next week.

LMAO !!! I swear people just don't read (very well) .
I think the poster read the stats that I posted in the opening of this thread that were RG's stats from our FIRST Game against Dallas. In that game he had 4 TD's not today.
The point of this thread was to discuss how RG played the first time we played Dallas, the state of his knee today and project what his knee will be like next weekend, and how it may or may not affect his play and our game plan, basing it upon how we played (game planned) for Dallas prior. And tho he only had 4 rushes in the first game, how would Dallas game plan for RG not at 100 percent. However, much of that discussion has been completely null and void and I personally think would be an interesting thread. If Dallas takes the angle that they are not going to try and defend RG from running then Morris will have a tougher day as they will key on him run wise. It will also let Dallas rush the QB somewhat easier if they anticipate that RG won't be running a lot. In the first game he didn't run a lot, but the threat was there and that thread changes the dynamics of how a defense plays. Will RG's current status change that? If so how do the Redskins and RG adjust. Dallas got some film today on what we did in THIS GAME and will plan I'm sure somewhat accordingly.
I have little doubt that this post from me will also be misunderstood and misquoted and twisted into a host of other subjects...
So is it in Extremeskinsland...

I felt like his body language in the first half clearly indicated that the knee was not responding has he had hoped or expected. He seemed to adjust in the second half. Maybe he just accepted the fact that he was going to have to be a pocket passer for the day and that is what he did.
There's another scenerio, however unlikely, that would get the Skins in If the game against the Cowboys ends in a tie Skins go to playoffs.Skins would win the division with a tie.I know it's highly unlikely but just putting it out there.I am thinking the brace may come off or they may use a less restrictive one next week.Either way,why tip your hand? RG was effective enough to get the win today, there was a very good chance he and the team, though they wouldn't admit it,were looking ahead a little.

RGlll looked rusty today for sure. I was impressed with the Moss TD, that was an excellent touch pass and he dropped it on the perfect spot. I didn't feel warm and fuzzy watching him "run". I think we really need the pistol and option plays to get our running game going and to give us more flexibility and to keep Dallas on their toes. Having that in the first game kept Dallas scrambling for answers.
RG coming out and showing a good scramble off an option would completely change the game IMO.
I agree that he was clearly not 100%.
What gives me confidence is his ability to adjust his throwing motion with a gingerly planted right leg. Even with what appeared to be a modified release point(watch the Moss TD), he was still deadly accurate. His raw talent is amazing. I've never seen an athlete that makes his performance seem so effortless.
It's conceivable that the tape from today's game could play into a slight advantage against the Cowboys.
I know it's a long shot, but what are the odds that Kyle and company kept things somewhat "vanilla" thinking that we could beat the eagles without showing everything, and give Dallas a bad read? I know this is most likely not the case, but it was brilliant(although completely nerve racking!) if they did that on purpose.
