Look people, please don't get too drunk before this game. I don't want people passed out in their seats while we whip the turds up and down the field on Sunday.

Oh Gee....I thought that was a personal call to me from Larry and he just wouldn't shut up so I could ask a question! He sounded so excited and in a hurry to call everyone else. You mean it was recorded....Oh now I'm depressed.... HTTR!

I think the phone call shows what kind of pull MTH has w/ the organization. We have some speculation on times, I post an email - we don't have confirmation from the Skins so MTH just calls Larry and asks him to give us all a call. Color me impressed.

That's awesome! Way to go MTH!

I'm jealous that I don't have season tickets anymore....might have to do something about that. I hope you all have a blast and are loud as hell!

I'm sorry but 3:30 just isn't good enough. This is the biggest game in the history of FedEx Field. They opened the lots at 12 for the 2010 opening night game against Dallas that amounted to a fart in a tornado compared to this game.

With all of the other games going on as well and teams making a push for the final spots this is going to be a great weekend of football.

It would be nice to have the stadium full during warmups and I don't think 3:30 is going to do it.

    Hail

When I think of commuter traffic, I think of Monday through Friday; the game is on Sunday. LOL

Of course, if we all make an effort to get to the stadium by 1400/2pm, we might back up the approach roads enough to force an early release.

    cheers

I would love some extra hours of tailgating but, if I remember correctly, the number of DUIs spiked when the lots opened that early.

Also, no matter how early you open the lots, people are going to stay out as long as possible. I know I'd rather drink beers out of my cooler than pay for two bottles what I would have paid for a 12-pack.

Yeah, of course. Definitely always the 20 somethings at Fedex. Because the guy who hurled on himself and then passed out in his seat 2 rows behind me at the Giants game just LOOKED like he was in his 40s. The 4 people that were in each other faces and later came to blows 5 rows in front obviously were just wearing wrinkle make up. The guy who I watched spray his beer all over a 70 something year old woman at the Packers game a couple years back only dyed his hair grey. I'm sorry. I don't mean to be a jerk here. But when these discussions about the bad behavior in the stands and in the lots come up, the blame seems to ALWAYS get aimed at the younger fans.

I am sorry but he is right for the most part, most of the people that make asses of themselves are younger, and I've been to more games than a lot of people on this forum.

I'm not denying that a lot of folks there don't represent my demographic well. I've seen some seriously idiotic behavior by a lot of the younger fans. Enough in fact that it really is hard to argue this point. I guess it's just easy to feel a little offended as someone who tries hard to not fall into that stereotype. I drink responsibly, I don't start fights, I put my coals out before I walk into the stadium with no exceptions, I get rowdy but I don't ruin other fans experiences, and I try my best to pay attention to the fans around me.

At the MNF game, we showed up to wait in line at 330 and the lots were already open (Morgan BLVD). Hopefully it will be the same this week.
Being Airborne isn't about just being crazy enough to jump out of a plane. It's an attitude that doesn't go away whether your 18 or 80. We are like a college fraternity- the hazing is our training, but our bond isn't Greek Letters, its courage and blood symbolized by silver wings.

Yes, and this surprises no one. It's good to be that age. They will learn the same lessons that we did.

You should not feel offended if you are a great fan and behave yourself. The comments were not aimed at you. Whether you like it or not, most (not all) of the bad behavior at FedEx Field (and any other large stadium) is primarily young male adults. Been going for ten years and the "stereotype" is a "stereotype" for a reason. Doesn't mean every young person misbehaves. In fact, almost all of them are very responsible and great fans. It is always a very small number of stupid fans who think getting drunk, acting like an *******, and assaulting other fans is correct behavior. Don't take it personal. It is what it is. Even us old farts remember back to our younger days about the stupid things we did in our late teens and early 20s. Aging and family responsibilities often teach us what seemed like fun pranks when we were young, really was just being a jerk. I think most all of us have a few things that we did when we were young that we are not very proud about.
