Does anyone know if Griff will still be able to go to all the Pro Bowl events even though he won't be playing?

Come on, Frank Gore out and Doug Martin in? How is Morris not in over Martin? Pro Bowl is a joke

I wish Alfred had made it to the pro-bowl, but I'm actually glad I think he got the better off-season award of the two.

Martin's getting the Pro-Bowl birth, partially voted on by fans and makes him one of something like 7 Running Backs with that honor this year.

Alfred Morris is second team All-Pro, no fan voting, and is one of only 4 over the entire league.

Does anyone know why Bam Bam Morris didn't get selected to go to the Pro Bowl? He did have more rush yards than Doug Martin so why was he skipped over.

It was an absolute joke that Gore was selected over Morris in the first place and that is said with zero disrespect toward Frank Gore because he is and has been a great RB for a long time. Morris had a far superior year. The fact that Morris is a second alternate behind Martin is just incredibly ignorant. Morris had the 3rd most rushing yards for a rookie in the entire history of the NFL. He averaged over 100 yards per game on the ground and when we needed a win the most all year and RG3 was hurting, he put the team on his back to the tune of 200 yards and 3 TD's.

I realize Martin had a sensational season himself and the receiving yards are pretty big for him. Morris had more yards on the ground, more TD's and led his team to the playoffs. There is no way he should be the second alternate.

he can go if he wishes, but there is no way he is leaving the rehab facility to fly cross country to Hawaii

They are Pro-Bowl stats for a 3rd alternate, as I pointed out. You said previously we should trade Kerrigan away and keep Jackson over him, so yeah.

and justice98: we're talking about a player deserving the Pro Bowl or not, so Saturday absolutely is involved in the conversation since he is the most notorious example of an undeserving player this year. I showed the stat line, and it seems fine to me for, again, wait for it,.... a THIRD alternate. I'd rather someone with well rounded stats get in than a sack specialist with no other stats.

We all know the Pro Bowl is a farce at certain positions, I'm just glad it worked in the favor of one of our players, especially since it screwed over Morris. Heaven forbid Redskins fans actually be happy for a player getting in, even if he didn;t have league-leading stats.

Kerrigan is a very good all around player. He's not dominant in any one area but he can rush the passer, stop the run, and his coverage improved BIG TIME this year(might be our best cover LB now). He's also durable, reliable, and doesn't make mistakes.

Is he a real Pro Bowler? Probably not. But with Ware, Matthews, and Aldon Smith all not going, there really is nobody else better in the NFC.

Our last 3 first rounders to the Pro Bowl and Orakpo is typically a Pro Bowler as well. Hitting on our first rounders is nice.

well i think there is a fair arguement to be made for both sides. while morris had martin in rushing yards, i believe martin outgained morris in total yards by a bit. their TD numbers were similar and martin fumbled less. it's not really that big of a deal.

most people didnt know who morris was till the end of the season when he blew up and had a 200 yard game. martin they knew about early on.

Respectfully disagree, Bam Bam gained more rush yards than Martin by over 100 yards. Bam Bam has been performing great all season. He was a big part of the winning streak. This mistake falls on us fans for not voting more for Bam Bam.
