I'm looking to buy a green parking pass for the Cowpokes game this weekend. Please contact me if you have a spare that you would be interested in selling.

You can buy Orange(limited and specific) or Gray from this website. I found this through my Redskins account page. It is legit.

No - you can buy orange for the playoff game but you need to be media or a club season ticket holder.
But yes, you can buy grey for $46 for the Cowboys. You get a pdf. You need to be a season ticket holder.
If you go to the link I posted, it has "onsite" parking for $57.50 for the Cowboys game. If you look at the parking map, the shaded section for onsite parking is the Orange lot off of Morgan Blvd. I clicked on the link in my season ticket holder account, but I don't believe you have to be a season ticket holder to buy for the Dallas game, I could be wrong though, I didn't go through the checkout process. I did add one to my cart and it let me without asking me for my account number. I am aware that you have to be a season ticket holder with parking in order to buy anything but Gray for the Playoff game, but it seems different for the Dallas game.
The only reason I went and checked this site out, was because there are several sellers selling these passes on Ebay for $70-$80 advertising them as Orange lot passes.
Okay - You're right in that if you buy an "On-site" pass, you may be directed to the orange lots adjacent to Morgan Blvd. And that's not bad. But it's not quite the same as an orange pass. For example, I am going to need to buy an orange pass for the playoff game, but this pass wouldn't help me because I need to park in the C lot.
You're also correct - it doesn't appear we need an account number to buy certain passes.

Thanks for the offer Mark, I'm sorry I didn't check back here sooner to take you up on this. I was able to get a pass through ebay, but it was no where near market. But my tickets were a birthday gift back in June, so an overpriced parking pass isn't much to get worked up about considering it's the game of the decade. Thanks again.
