The fact also is that he failed the test and only got off on a technicality. And the process of putting the sample in another cup is not shoddy process, it happens sometimes. That in and of itself doesn't void the test....which again, was positive. I am also very skeptical of the supposed other tests that were faulty. That is lawyer talk to me. And Sherman's reputation is tarnished because anyone who understands the process, like me, knows he did fail the test and is using bull**** to get out of it. That's a fact.

We'll just have to disagree about the "facts".
One that is indisputable is that RS will be playing tomorrow and, barring injury, for a far as the Hawks go in the playoffs.
As a fan of the Seahawks, that is a good thing.

Good luck vs. the Boys ... maybe our teams will meet next weekend ....
't would be fun to see RGIII vs. RWI

I would have a real hard time being excited if one of my players cheated by using a banned substance to play better, got caught and got off with lawyer tricks. have fun cheering for that.

I guess I just don't have as many scruples as you
This (from the PDF) is good enough for me to keep cheering for my team ...

In this case, after weighing the differing testimonies of the only two people with first-hand knowledge, Mr. Sherman and Mr. Cook, I do not believe the burden has been met, that the departures, especially in the actual collection of the sample, did not materially affect the validity of the positive test.

Accordingly, Mr. Sherman's appeal is granted and the discipline is reversed.

    Sincerely,
    Robert E. Wallace, Jr.

I expect nothing less from the fan base that said the Skins would be "dead like Sean Talyor" after the playoff game in 2007. Classy.

I know nothing about who said that ... deplorable. But, I would caution about labeling it something from "the fan base" ... That's an awfully scary, broad brush to paint with. Comments as ugly as that are certainly something I abhor and not anything any of the Hawk fans I know would even think, let alone say.

In a court of law I could see that happening, but the NFL is not too concerned with following procedure if it will negatively impact them.

I suspect that the player did get off because he was wrongly fingered in the first place.
