Okay here is something interesting. I'm posting this in an edit so I don't bump this thread and obscure the legit ads today. It's 2:45 PM 12/29 as I write this.

    See this guy's ad: http://www.extremeskins.com/showthre...boys-2-tickets

He wants $350 for each ticket. This is waaaay beyond the 20% mark up guideline, and yet it's actually a good price. The current tickets in 100 level corners as listed on Stubhub at the moment are between $500 and $650 each. Plus 10% fees. But that's not what's important. What's important is what people have actually been paying. And the last NINE (9) listings sold on Stubhub over the past fourteen days in section 106 have been between $400 and $499. And of course, the buyer had to pay the 10% fee. NOBODY has had the good fortune to find tickets below $400 in Section 106 in the past two weeks on Stubhub.

So, what do we do? Do we attack this guy because he is (maybe) making a few bucks on es.com (unless he is one who bought from stubhub for $400)? Or do instead allow the ad to stand because we realize he is offering Redskins fans and ES members the opportunity to purchase at the best price we know of at the moment?

    Comments?
looks like people can just not list a price and take it to PMs and sell it for whatever they want. It's hard to enforce the rule on this site when people can easily go elsewhere and make a profit

IMO the reason why tickets were so high last week was b/c it was Dallas week. Seahawk fans wont be making the trip for this game so to see tickets so high for this game is kind of funny to me. I think by Sunday you should be able to get tickets pretty close to FV. Could be wrong...but JMO

This is the key. If you're buying tickets directly from the Redskins, you can expect to pay face value, but if you're buying on the secondary market, face value is meaningless. I say this as a seller who's getting the bad end of that deal in 9/10 games. I sold my tickets to the Cowboys game at about 1.5x face value, and I sold my playoff tickets for over 2x face value. I don't feel I took advantage of the buyer anymore than I feel that buyers are taking advantage of me when they're paying 20% of face value for preseason games. I'd be OK with selling all of my tickets for face value, or I'd be OK with selling all of my tickets at market value. What I'm not OK with is selling my undesirable tickets at market value, and then being limited to face value on the big games. Pick which way you want to do it and let's keep it consistent. When I start getting face value for preseason games I promise to sell my Cowboys and playoff tickets for face as well.

I'll leave it up to the moderators to figure out the rules, mostly because I don't see any good way to do it that I could recommend. I would like to be able to sell more tickets here though, and I'd be willing to do it at ~75% of market value just to be sure they're going to another fan.
