I agree with the OP, I remember asking my dad back in the 80's " how many are we going to win by today, not if we are going to win or not"
This will be the game that marks the official beginning of the third Redskins dynasty, Granted the extremers know that the dynasty began in December of 2009 when it became obvious that a big change was on the wind or a month later when those changes were made. Some might argue for April of this year or opening day.
A bad plan well executed may work. A good plan badly executed will always fail.
It's a big game, but I guess I view things a tad differently. And the under 25 crowd or whatever has had big games in their lifetime.
To me the 2005 Redskins were in the same boat. We had to win against Dallas Philly and New York to end the season.
Then we won a playoff game, and had the ball rolled differently we might have won 2.
How short our memories are.
Hey, LL, did you tell that "NFL Executive" who called Shanahan a "joke" how he feels now?![]()

BTW, I wrote this blog post ... and I am 28.
We won the SB when I was 7. This is the beginning, I think, for those in my age range to enjoy the success the older fans have seen.
However,
It's been 20 years of blah ... even the older fans are interested in experiencing something new.
