Seahawk fan here, just wanted to say congrats on your title over the cowboys and wish you guys good luck this weekend! Football is all we have over here in the northwest and it will be one hell of a ballgame! Rg3 vs Wilson, Morris vs Lynch, I can't wait for it, whoever comes out of this game will make some noise in the playoffs. Ready for a good one!

Many thanks - looking forwards to a great game. Should be an old fashioned style game with two teams who base their offense around establishing the run and two dynamic QBs who can throw downfield and make plays with their legs. I'm pleased we are playing you at FedEx not in Seattle!

Both sets of fans can also be happy both teams have found long term top tier QBs.

We have a bit of a rivalry it seems as of the past few years. I have attended the last three games at Qwest Field and it was fun but the 12th man is a challenge to any team. I expect that FedEx will do its best to return the favour. Your guys dont travel well and usually lose when they have to cross the continent. However your riding some serious mojo. Good luck but I think your in for a shock and the they better start passing around the adderall starting now.

Given how hot the Seahawks are and given how well built they clearly are, it may be a bit presumptuous of me, but, I am already looking beyond this game to Atlanta.

This is not to say the Seahawks aren't a good team. Top to bottom I think they are better than we are. But, that is a team built for the edge their quickness gives them at home and are easier to counter when that is taken from them on the road. The Redskins aren't a particularly BIG team, but, we're a physical team. Offensively your guys won't be able to get the jump you get at home and we can beat you down at our house. Defensively we'll have the advantage you typically have, though we're not really built to take advantage of it. Still, the slight delay in getting off at the snap you'll experience from the lack of being able to hear, and the slight jump we'll get will leave us engaging you rather than catching you.

On the road I do not think this is a close game for the Skins. On the road I also do not anticipate it being that close for the Seahawks.
If the ESFP has not developed their Thinking side by giving consideration to rational thought processing, they tend to become over-indulgent, and place more importance on immediate sensation and gratification than on their duties and obligations. They may also avoid looking at long-term consequences of their actions.

We don't need luck. We have Rg3 and alfred Morris and a team that will not say die.

    Default Friendly Fire

    Hawk fan here in peace.

Having watched the game last night, I couldn't help myself but to cringe each time I saw RG3 trying to run or when he got hit. Am I the only one? Obviously everything was on the line, as it will be this week. Clearly he is a warrior, but the kid is hurt. Even on 1/2 a leg he's fearsome, but...

I'm trying to understand the rationale here though. Seems to me the Skins are risking a potential serious injury to their franchise QB in doing so. Especially in light of having a backup in Cousins that seems quite capable. Help me understand this please. Even as a Hawk's s fan, I would hate to see his career impacted. He's "must see TV".

All that said, this looks like a dream match up for the network. The RG3/RW hype will begin immediately.

I expect a VERY physical game. The Seattle defense is big, mean and fast. Seattle will smack you in the mouth for sure. On the other hand, the grass field will impact their speed for sure. Seattle's achilles heel on defense is their pass rush. On the other hand, Browner will be back. Expect the Skins to work the middle as the outside is particularly tough with Browner and Sherman out there.

The two teams are built fairly similar on offense. Lynch and Morris' numbers are pretty similar, as are Griffin's and Wilson's.

For those of you who are looking at Seattle's road record, look a little closer. They have been in every single game all year. They have not lost by more than 7 points. They won their last 2 games on the road including at Chicago when Chicago was playing well.. If anyone should understand a slow start, it would be Skins' fans. Look closely at Wilson's numbers the last 8 weeks. When Carroll took off the training wheels, Wilson has been nothing short of incredible. Those of you that expect Wilson to be "intimidated", I would suggest to you that you need only actually watch him play. He has personified cool and collected from day 1 just like RG3.

I expect a great game. How ironic that one of these teams will likely die by the read zone this weekend.

sounds like a hawks fan is scared of RG3 and would rather see Cousins to me.

RG3 looked 80% more mobile than he did last week and I suspect he will look even better when we play you next week

No. I am serious. I hope he is well. Way better game that way. I just don't understand taking the risk of seriously impacting the kid's career.

    Worry about your own team.

I do get a bit nervous while watching RG3 run the ball, but he's gotten much better about shying away from contact as the year has progressed. The injury against the Ravens was him, in the 4th Quarter, with the season on the line diving forward to both protect himself and get yardage and having a fluke tackler hit his knee. I get nervous, but then I realize its football, and a contact sport and **** happens.

That said, This is going to be one hell of a game. These offenses can almost look in the mirror and see one another, and both of these defenses are going to basically be playing against their own team when you look at it. I don't think Seattles seen a physical back like Morris yet, and the Redskins haven't seen Lynch and his physicality either.

On paper, I think Seattle has a better team, but the entire NFC East had a better set of teams on paper than the Redskins so it won't shock me at all if they come out and beat Seattle.

he wouldn't be out there if that was a real possibility

After the stories I heard from our fans who attended the game in Seattle in 2007 I pretty much hate Seattle fans. No offense to the orginal poster but man... those guys were jerks! Shouting things about Sean Taylor's dead etc. Some small dark part of me hopes we give it back to them tenfold on Sunday.
