If people have a problem with the stadium being too noisy feel free to stay at home and give me your tickets so I can be loud as ****

This has been a public service announcement by RichmondRedskin88 reminding you that you are at a football game. Not a ****ing tea party. That is all.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.....

Someone needs to bring this to the FO's attention, especially Dan himself. There is no such thing as too much noise, especially considering we were eliminated from the playoffs twice in Seattle's stadium.

If the noise bothers you, go back inside to the cigar lounge/couches where you spend most of your time anyway. Unless you have sky box seats you shouldn't be complaining about too much noise. I can't tell you how many times I have witnessed shouting matches/hissy fits between fans for standing up/banging a plastic bottle against a seat and some ridiculous crap that makes you question the fandom of the person bitching/moaning/complaining... It's a football stadium not a ****ing golf course

No one can make you sit down. I have this confirmed by stadium security.

Simple fix. Go get Stadium personnel when someone isn't making enough noise on defense. Those are the ones that need talking to.

Thank You! This is a fact! If someone asks you to sit, there's a 99.9% chance they aren't a STH anyway so feel free to tell them to **** off

Haven't these "noise sensitive" types considered bringing earplugs? I go to Boise State games and always keep a pair or two around just in case there's someone making a noise that's actually physically discomforting. Never actually had to use them but the option's there. That way my ears are protected and the home crowd can do it's job. Be loud FEDEX!!!!!

PS: Did the "Big Package" nickname die out already??

Actually not a bad idea. Carry some with you that are sealed in pairs. If someone complains, theres the fix. This isnt a tennis or golf match

Dude you should run stadium opps. I love to be uncomfortable and ignored. I look for that experience in restaurants and hotels, not just my ball games.

Looking back to the NFC Championship game against Dallas in January of '83, we stood the entire game except for a brief sitting rest at halftime. When I say "we" I mean EVERYBODY. Not one person ever said "down in front". We were loud, proud and likkered up. That's the way it SHOULD be!

Here's a pic of my nephews at the game last night. They've ALWAYS done it right.

You, good sir, are on a roll and I appreciate the laughs/humors as an escape from my current task of wedding planning with the woman lol

I was in section 308 club SRO and me and my friend were on the aisle. The stadium security stood next to us the whole game and we were using the aluminum bottles to bang on the panels behind us, any time security turned to look, we put the bottles in our back pockets. He had no clue where it was coming from!

By the end of the game we were just kicking the hell out of the panels and the security guy had no problem with it. It was loud as hell, my foots a little swollen and my legs are so sore! But it was well worth it! I love SRO.

Too loud? Well that's what you get when you price tickets at $500 a pop...
We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...

The girls fans around us were laughing and joining in, it was on one of our timeouts and then a failed third down at the end of the game.
Tweed- I think I know exactly who you are. What row were you in. We were definitely rocking all night. That was the greatest experience I have ever had at the stadium.

I wouldn't confuse the experience at FedEx with that of a fine restaurant or hotel - either in terms of my expectations for service, or my reasons for being there.

Good post. Feel the same way.

I don't understand those type of fans who spend $500 for a ticket to just sit down the whole time and complain about the noise around them when they aren't cheering. It's a bummer sitting next to those type of fans.

    Let's go Hokies!
