@JasonLaCanfora: sorry, my bad here- deal between Chiefs and Andy Reid is NOW imminent. As in will be finalized likely by end of day
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."
Does this mean Reid will be hired by both the Cards and the Chargers now.![]()

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.
Feels like a pretty good move for Reid and I fully expect the Cheifs to show marked improvement next year. Let's face it, Romeo Crennel is an awful coach.
Get ready for a 70/30 pass/run ratio Chiefs fans.
"It was like he was Jason on 'Friday the 13th' -- man just wouldn't go down," - Honolulu bar patron on Trent Williams being tasered and smashed over the head with a champagne bottle.
"It's like catching a stack of pancakes."
Sweep the leg.
Good. Now the only team we have to worry about from the AFCW next year is the Broncos.

I think Airzona is a better team than the Chiefs, though Arizona's QB situation is probably worse. Also, Arizona's ownership is always going to be a concern for any coach with a pedigree.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the former Philadelphia Eagles coach's people have started the process of canceling potential interviews with the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals, according to a source briefed on Reid's plans. One person whom Reid has spoken with believes a deal is getting close with the Chiefs, who are making a hard push to keep the coach from talking to other teams.
Yeah, the NFC West is tough. Chiefs have talent though, especially on defense with guys like Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hal, and Berry in the secondary. I wonder what the hell happened to Glenn Dorsey though. He was one of the most dominant college interior lineman that I've ever seen, yet it's like he went to KC and fell off the face of the earth.
