I was talking about taking him out at the half with my dad, but that run that he had to limp to the sideline should have been the sign. He couldn't move, and couldn't throw. Anyone could see he was at 20% or less. I'm not saying Cousins would have won it, just that RGIII's health is bigger then this game.

And the only one who should be praying on the sideline is Shanahan...

Why don't you just send us all a private message weekly with what our opinions are allowed to be this week? In case I was unclear I think your opinion is crap. I'm not asking or Shanahan to be fired but his coaching decisions today deserve to be second guessed .

While you are correct that RG3 is a passer first, even a passing quarterback needs healthy legs to deliver the ball effectively.

Do you know why RGIII didn't throw for 5 TDs? Because he couldn't even plant to throw. He was at under 50% after the re injury out of bounds. The coach is a football coach not a doctor. James Andrews is on the sideline for a reason.

Why would it be ugly? I'm normally a glass half empty guy but this team exceeded expectations and there is no reason to think we will handicap ourselves at 3-6 to start the year. Robert has learned that he can and will get hit hard and I expect to see him grow as a runner. Man... I'm depressed we lost but I'm ready to get started on next year.

On griffin, if anyone has played any type of high level sport, you know you'd die before being taken out. How is Shannahan gonna pull griffin when I'm sure he was saying he was fine. You can't. We dodged a bullet assuming he didn't tear anything, and I'd rather it played out this way then having our QB dissapointed in the decision and it hanging over the off season.

How do we know that RG3 is the one who didn't want to be pulled? We don't know that yet. RG3 should have benched himself. But because he is not like that. So calm down people. There was no guarantee Kirk could have have done any better.

With the way our D was playing in the third and beginning of the fourth, you have to think we have a good shot at winning with Cousins.

I think giving up what we did to get RG3 was totally justifiable. Shanahan leading us to 7 wins in a row and the NFC title does not spare him from criticism, not when he clearly put our future in serious trouble like he did.

Fire the man. He traded the farm for the kid, and almost gets him killed while his team is still up by 1. Combine this with the WaPo article about Dr. Andrews, Shanny's commitment to building a long term winner has to be question. He might have ruined the franchise players career in an attempt to win a single playoff game, which he ultimately failed to do. When he finally puts Cousins in, it's too late & the kid had to run no huddle, something he barely runs even in practice.

Horrible coaching by a horrible coach. Fire this bum.

Makes ZERO sense to leave him in. Mike put his future at risk by keeping him in there.

The asset that costs us so much.. Shanahan needs to be held uncomfortable responsible for loss and the health of RG3. He put his ego ahead of the team and it cost us all.

The people saying Shanahan should be fired are ridiculous. That said, rg clearly could not move or plant to throw once the re injury happened and he should have been taken out much earlier. I think it's fair to say this game is partly on Mikes shoulders for the decision to leave him out there. That said, I don't believe Kirk would've faired well in this game.
