The kneed affected his throwing also.

RGIII should have been taken out much earlier.

ive come from the future to tell Mr. Shanahan to remove Mr. Griffin from the game. I dont have the exact time.. However, it will be obvious TO EVERYONE IN THE ****ING STADIUM.

    Mike: Are you ****ing stupid!?

Griffin: Are you that ****ing selfish!?

    furious..

we can win without griffin. we cant win without a quarterback. shanny will regret this for the rest of his life... as he should.

edit: let me cool.. ill be back

Maybe the coach should, oh, I don't know, OPEN HIS EYES AND SEE HOW HE IS PERFORMING. How does this concept escape you simpletons?

It's a tough decision. Had Shanahan taken RGIII out of the game at halftime we would of been playing the guessing game on how he should have been kept in to remain a potential threat. Also, the whole "you play your best players in the playoff games". It's obvious we run a different offense when Kirk Cousins plays and I don't believe he would have won this game being throwin into the game at half.

exactly... all you blaming shanahan are just looking for someone to blame... grow up and realize that we went further than ANYONE expected.

Anyone complaining that RG3 was in the game is delusional. Blaming Shanahan for letting RG3 play? He has played hobbled the last three games.. what is different now that he reached for the ball and his knee gave out? Hindsight is 20/20, get over it. He'll be fine during the offseason and after him getting all the first team snaps and game planning all week what did you expect?

The truth is, we could have won this game if not for the receivers not catching balls on their hands all game and the defense going to **** once we got up 14 points.

Be proud of what this team accomplished and don't ruin it by playing Monday morning QBs on what should have been done with RG3 and bitching because it's Shanahan's fault.

And if Kirk came in and we lost you would have said why RG3 got pulled so early. Get it.

You are damned if you do and your damned if you don't.

They aren't. NOBODY is bigger than the Washington Redskins. And when a custodian of this team, which Coach Shanahan is, makes a monumental mistake, he deserves justifiable criticism therein. Just because he's proceeded over a roller coaster 7 game run to get to this point doesn't absolve him from that today.

If you want to (rightly) have folk readily hand down plaudits when it goes good, then you need to accept the opposite when he screws up.

this is RGIII just being too much of a hero....he always says he is fine when he is NOT

And today, he screwed up in the biggest of ways on the National stage.

    Hail.

I don't k ow why he was still in there. He was clearly not "there" and you have a quality backup. Save him from getting killed and hopefully win the game in the process.

I am very sad today not because we lost the game but because everything I believed about RGIII and his leadership was proven wrong. Cuss me out do whatever you want but to be a leader mean making the right decisions for the team. now I understand his demeanor at the Browns game, now I understand his stubbornness. He has a lot to learn and I hope he learns he needs to understand the team is above him.

Mike on the other hand needs to explain himself. For 2.5 quarters he can't that blind to have a one legged QB in there. He can't be that stupid. Reminds me of Gibbs and his insistence in 2005 to keep Brunell in there when he was being owned.

Maybe I don't know much but I do know it takes a man and a leader to say someone might do a better job than me. RGIII tonight proved he is neither.

This made NO sense to leave him in! he wasnt moving around great at all.. he could barely plant his leg...

Kirk may not have won the game, but i believe we would have had a better chance.

I would have preferred that if we was going to lose the game it was because we made great decisions that didnt plan out. not obviously dumb ones that ppl who dont even watch football could see.
