The Hands Will Come
At this point I would be very surprised if RG3 isn't our starter opening day.
This thread will get to 200 pages just by people relaying that Adam Schefter tweet.

#Redskins MT @AdamSchefter RG3 expected to have surgery this week on torn LCL. At that time Dr's will determine if any damage done to ACL.
This is actually a positive Tweet...Although do they mean Same RG III as in the one we saw in the Cowboys and Seahawks game lol

Team official says torn LCL for RG3. This was first reported by ESPN. Source close to RG3 says doctors expect "same RG3 next season."
If it is considered a grade III tear, which is a complete rupture, then it is almost a certainty that other cruciate ligaments are damaged as well. From what I have read, one of the reasons why an LCL even tears is because other cruciate ligaments are damaged, which would make that whole Kevin&Rock rumor about hiding other injuries seem actually plausible. Uggh.
Also, to provide some more insight on the recovery for the LCL surgery, Dr. David Lintner (Team Orthopedist for the Houston Texans) has a great article:

Shows a good timeline of workouts and recovery time for someone coming back after an LCL surgery.

thats kinda good news but i mean they can't really know yet either until after the surgery lol
Don't know why anyone was ever worried about PCL as that injury is extremely rare and almost ALWAYS requires an straight back impact to shin area while the upper thigh is stablized (like the dash of a car impacting the shin of a sitting person in a car wreck where they are most common). However a PCL tear is also one of the least worrisome as it is the only ligament with blood flow and can actually repair itself in most cases ESP when the patient is young. My former roommate tore his in a freak accident and never had surgery, healed completely, and has continued in a career that demands him to run and flip all over the place

Pray that the ACL isn't torn.
