@realfreemancbs: Team official says torn LCL for RG3. This was first reported by ESPN. Source close to RG3 says doctors expect "same RG3 next season."

This is so ridiculous that a sprained LCL ended up torn with our franchise QB. All of this was preventable smh. Everyone has blame in this and RG3 is true warrior but someone has to save this kid from himself. This is year 1. Not his last ride. My goodness

From what I gather, its usually one of the losing teams from the divisional rounds who winds up coaching in the Pro Bowl.

RG3 is probably lobbying all 4 possible coaches as we speak.

Uggh.
There's no chance the Owner, General Manager and Coach all secretly conspired to purposely put in jeopardy the career of their first true franchise quarterback in 20 years. It's preposterous and I;m supposed to believe that Dr. Andrews would risk his professional career by conspiring on this too? And RGIII was "in on it" - it's absurd

Kevin and Rock are trolls, don't believe sensationalist garbage

See the bottom of this page (below). Recovery time is 3-9 months. I wonder how Cousins' cousin is taking this news?!?!

Edit: I know it says MCL... but info is there for the LCL, too.

    Nah.

No one is saying that RG3 COMPLETELY blew out his knee. He knows what a torn ACL feels like (it happened to him in 2009). He took himself out of the Ravens game. He didn't take himself out of this game.

I think he would've known himself if he had done something that serious.

Sprain is a tear just a very small tear - the way he continued to work his knee, it was obvious that it was going to turn into a worse tear - only way to heal is to rest completely, which he didn't do from day 1

I'm assuming because it may be scar tissue and they have to go in and look.
Too bad there isn't a penalty for excessive underachievement. The Cowboys would be flagged. (Clayton)

I actually heard they're moving the Pro Bowl to August so RG3 can participate.

Hell mother****ing yes. Hail to the Redskins. Let's get some freaking weapons and defenders and take it to the next level!

John Mara just called an emergency competition committee review. He's pissed at RG3's resilience.

How much of Robert's unwillingness to come out is due to how well Kirk plays in his absence? Got to be floating around a little in the back of his head.
