I expect a quick and full recovery. He will be our starting QB come opening day 2013. Of that I have no doubt. Then Shanahan has to evolve this offense into a more pro style one. Reduce chance of injury to RGIII. This kid is a freak and will rehab hard. His dedication and drive will make a huge difference in his recovery time.

If it is a combo of LCL and ACL then rehab is 9-12 month minimum, which means 2014.
    We shall see
AP tore two ligaments and was back at the start of the season

That's fine... like I said... I really don't care whether anyone else likes it or not.

I agree, this is what I got out of it, and everything else is just talk until Andrews comes out and speaks (or Shanahan).

Good God, I have to leave this thread before I get banned. Yes, it was clearly a fantastic idea on everyone's part to keep RG3 in the game!

I gurantee no matter what happened on Sunday RG3 was having surgery on that knee when the season was over. They are saying Tear not Ruptured. Even a grade 1 sprain has tearing a rupture is a complete tear in the ligament.

This is the accurate answer. So we have to wait until the surgery to see if we can breathe easy or if our worst fears are realized.

Meaning another 2-3 days of rampant speculation, haters declaring the end of RG3's career, and general media hysteria vomit.

    Sweet.

Sort of interesting that none of the Skins insiders have said anything.

Lateral knee reconstruction is an open-knee procedure, and is not done arthroscopically. The tendon graft is passed through bone tunnels and fixed to the thighbone and lower leg bone (fibula) using screws or posts or with stitches tied around a post.

This is scary to me. Not done arthroscopically means a longer healing time. They will definately be able to check the entire knee as it looks like it is going to be filleted.

Please stay and get banned. You must enlighten me on this 'debacle'.

All I see is a possible error in judgement. Not a complete debacle as those who suffer from using hyperbole see it.
