Here is a little Q&A by Graziano about the situation. Gives some nice detail about the difference in procedure since he has already torn the ACL(if it is indeed torn) From the sounds of this, if he ever tears it again it would be serious trouble.

Guys... we're in for a long ride. We haven't even taken into account how his body will heal from the surgery, his rehab, whether if he has setbacks...etc. His recovery time will flex throughout his entire rehab process, and we'll never get finite date for return.
So I suggest everyone take a deep breath, take the time to enjoy your life over these next few months and not be stressed or worried. He's not dead.

HogsHaven is now reporting the same of which David Elfin did and that was nk structural damage to the ACL...
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

I'm still nervous.
According to a lot of doctors, it isn't likely to JUST tear the LCL in most cases

Excellent advice Prototype.
Everyone needs to relax. This will be a long, long process that will involve a lot of information and speculation over the next several months. It is impossible that we will know everything right now. All we can do is hope for the best and follow along. There are no "answers" right now. We won't "know" anything until time passes and the man has healed up.
All we know as far as injury is "it's bad".
All we know as far as how long it takes to heal is "we'll see".
Don't beat yourself up trying to find the answers to questions that can't be asked.
Hopefully after further review the ruling on the ACL damage will be overturned.
