yes man ... he would not right that if he did not mean it. I know, I know, sounds like it's pretty dumb, but I really think seeing this can be some cause for celebration!
so damn true, and this is a great point. at 3-6, I got a feeling he was too damn stubborn to belive that the team and his play could not get better.
I will agree with what you are saying in part, but to try and minimize the amount of drive and motivation that Robert brings to the field is just crazy. I fully think that Robert was a major drive for our run of 7. If for no other reason than he had the other guys out there preforming at a higher level. Was it all Robert, no it wasn't, but to no include him as a reason we won 7 straight just doesn't pass the common sense test.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109
help me understand stomething ... there have been and currently are alot of RB's that not just a little smaller, but considerably smaller than Robert. Off the top of my head I'm thinking that RG3 is 6'2, 215-220.
- Warrick Dunn, started 154 out of 181 games. He was 5'9 and 180 lbs.
- Curtis Martin, stat's not needed, 5'11 and 210 lbs.
- Chris Johnson, stated 77 of 79 games, 5'11, 195 lbs.
- Ahmad Bradshaw - stats not very helpful to this argument, but as NFC East followers, we know how tough this guy is and the pounding he takes.
Being RB's do they possess knowledge/skills that Robert either does not have or has not learned? If so, can Robert hone these skills? Or is it something totally different all together? Like these RBs, despite their measurables have other attributes that just make them better equipped to take the punishment.

Robert is 6'2 and 3/8" listed at 220 and 212 and somewhere in between.
he doesn't have the padding these guys have with shoulder pads, rib pads, etc. and their running styles are different. he's also looking to throw and more upright when he gets hit.
In fact, Shanny thought he tore the ACL on the sack in the 4th quarter, not the twist.. the twist may have just been a symptom or allowed to happen because the LCL and meniscus was gone along with a tear to the ACL.
