Speaking of players having surgery, did anybody know Josh Morgan did?

@JoshMorgan: Surgery was a Success... Painful but worth it 🙏 thank you god 😇... Time to heal and get back doing me like I http://t.co/7KNvTVEC

Well then, that came out of nowhere. What exactly was the surgery for? And, yes, I see the picture of his leg wrapped up, but I'm asking for specifics smart asses.

I was wondering same thing, there hasn't been any word from the skins on it.

The Ravens are a tough defense anyway, so I'm not sure I'd blame one missed block by Royster as a reason to bring back Hightower. I guarantee, every player on our team has missed a block this year.
Totally agree about it being a fluke but the point is don't devalue a RB with good blocking ability, hell A. Peterson for all the great running he does isn't a good block back and comes out on 3rd down.

Yep, for years Portis was our best lineman.

I'm not sure about that. I watched the play again yesterday. Royster lined up to RGIII's left and immediately went to the outside. There was a delayed safety blitz up the middle. I don't know the scheme for sure, so I don't know if Royster was supposed to cover that far over. He tried to get back over there, but RGIII had left by then.

Most likely related to the broken ankle he suffered in 2011.....cleaning things up.

    • Warrick Dunn, started 154 out of 181 games. He was 5'9 and 180 lbs.
    • Curtis Martin, stat's not needed, 5'11 and 210 lbs.
    • Chris Johnson, stated 77 of 79 games, 5'11, 195 lbs.
    • Ahmad Bradshaw - stats not very helpful to this argument, but as NFC East followers, we know how tough this guy is and the pounding he takes.

Being RB's do they possess knowledge/skills that Robert either does not have or has not learned? If so, can Robert hone these skills? Or is it something totally different all together? Like these RBs, despite their measurables have other attributes that just make them better equipped to take the punishment.
Herman Edwards on ESPN had a thought about Robert's running. He wasn't hurt on a designed run. But, he did take a lot of big hits on designed runs.

The average career for a franchise quarterback is 10-15 years. If we use him as a running back and he's taking those hits, does his career mirror the average franchise running back (6-8 years)?

No, it is still closer to the 10-15 year range as he isn't taking the same pounding a RB is taking and also doesn't carry the ball 200-300 times a season.

I didn't mention Jansen b/c he was on the decline while Portis was here... but he was dominant in his prime, for sure. But to be clear: Portis was also a dominant blocking back. So, back on topic... how the hell is RG3?!?!
