I know this already has been said but just reading the huff post article re-inforces the fact that this is a serious injury that he sustained. He can not be rushed by the team and esp by himself. There is no way he should be on the field in sept and probably october. This guy needs all the time he can get to come back 100% healthy and ready to resume a long productive career.
I'm all for taking our time bringing him back and wouldn't be upset if Cousins started some or all of our games in 2013. But, I'm not sure how you can say he as to "come back 100% healthy" and that there "is no way he should be on the field" in September and October in the same point. When he's 100% healthy and it's OK for him to play, he should play. I don't care if that's August 2013, December 2013, or August 2014. We can't assume to know the right time...
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

It's still something
"It was like he was Jason on 'Friday the 13th' -- man just wouldn't go down," - Honolulu bar patron on Trent Williams being tasered and smashed over the head with a champagne bottle.
Based on what? The guy should be on the field when he's cleared, period.
Stop the Violence
RIP Sean Taylor, may your passing serve as a message to others.
I wonder if RGIII has time to read this massive thread? Is this a record for posts or views?
Probably not, because he's busy rehabbing his knee. When he's not doing that he's throwing the football to keep his arm live. When he's not doing that he's eating a nutritional meal while reading about stem cells. There was a thread called "The Daily Babe" before Redskins deemed this the official messageboard... that had many many posts... there's also the "Fun with Eli's drunk pic" thread... there's a thread on this front page of the messageboard that has more posts, but it was started much earlier. This will surpass that one day. In fact, people will still comment on this thread even after he throws his first TD of 2013. "How is RGIII?"... People will always want to comment on that very question.

Being a Redskins fan prepares you for life.
Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109
