Man I am excted for the draft and FA but I just want these 8 months to go by so quickly so I can know he is ok and back on the field 100%. I care more about his knee than its probably healthy to.

Don't get crab cakes outside of the Baltimore Area or more specifically G&M or Timbuktu.......you will be disappointed.

Edgewater Restaurant in Edgewater, Md is the best I've ever had. And to stay on topic, I think I'll take RG and his knees their as well.

Jerry's Crab Bomb FTW! They were doing 2-for-1 on those 2 years back!

G&M and Timbuktu are freakin awesome. We send G&M crabcakes as gifts a few times a year.

He has the best doctors looking after him. If it takes 8 months or 12 months, I really believe he'll be ok. The team will be ok. He will be there, in pads or not, because he is their captain.

The man sacrificed his season trying to will his team to victory. He won me over, moreso, he won his team over. When the knee buckled, our first thoughts were not about the season, but about this incredible young man's career. We have been reassured that he will be fine. Now, we wait with anticipation for the magic to happen again.

    RG3 will be just fine.

Well sure, considering that the name of the restaurant itself pretty much gives that away, but this the "How Is RGIII" thread, meaning that we need to dig a little deeper than that.
    Like:

    What did he have?
How was the food cooked? (Grilled? Sauteed? Broiled?)
How long did it take to cook? What kind of seasoning was used?
What kind of music was the restaurant playing?
Did he have indigestion later on?

We have a right to know these things.

Holy **** why wasn't this its own thread? How can we be certain that RG3 is OK without knowing the ins and outs of his diet?

I would be concerned if he went with the crab cakes. Now, if he had gotten the Mahi Mahi, we'd be talking paloffs baby!!

OH GOD WHAT WOULD INDIGESTION DO TO HIS KNEE?!?!

    [extremeskins doctor struts in]

Well as someone who constantly has post-binge-drinking-indigestion, I can tell you that he is experiencing intense stomach pain, dehydration, and flatulence- all of which will INHIBIT his rehabilitation. I don't think we'll see him with normal bowl movements for AT LEAST 2 days...(ellipses continue on to enhance suspense)

When he's 100% healthy and it's OK for him to play, he should play. I don't care if that's August 2013, December 2013, or August 2014. We can't assume to know the right time...
Every article you read that quotes other orthopedic surgeons (besides Andrews who says he hopes he could be back by the opener) say that 8 months is incredibly optimistic projection for this type of injury. So I'm saying even if RG3 feels good come sept why rush him and bring him back at the earliest possible date. Be over cautious and give him the 10 months or so he needs. I want to see this guy for the long haul.

This whole opinion could be because I have no confidence in Shanny to make the safe call on RG3. I think in 8 months if the guy is able to run then he starts for Shanny regardless if he is 100%.

why do we never ask "how is RG3 doing"? I am sure RG3 is fine but his health is a not!

I totally agree. Dude ran Terrel Davis into the ground and I'm afraid RG3 maybe next.

He will be fine, I think he will be good to go for 2013 because he is basically Adonis in human form.
